About the weapon. LOTS of cosmoline. LOL But after a good cleaning, and some remiol it was range ready. I fired all shots at 10 yards. I got this weapon for CCW, so I don't do a lot of shooting past that with handguns. The mag springs are real stiff at first. I'm sure a week of break-in will solve that problem though. The trigger pull is nice. The pull on the first round is long, but noticeably smooth. And after that the reset is nice and short. The trigger breaks crisply, and the pull weight is very manageable. The felt recoil was low. And the weapon was comfortable to shoot and handle. Before I left the range I fired 200 plus rounds through it with no failures. At the end of the day I shot 2 strings of 5 shots each. 1 slow fire string. And 1 "rapid" fire. (A shot every 1 to 1.5 seconds) The slow fire group measured in at just under 3 inches. And the rapid fire group measured just over 6 inches. So, 200 plus rounds with no failures and more than acceptable accuracy. With fit, finish, accuracy, reliability, and handling characteristics that are on par with Glocks and Springfields that I have owned and a price tag under $300 I don't see how you could go wrong. This is easily one of the best values on the market. I give the weapon 5 out of 5 stars.

Second time dealing with Buds and all I have to say Is GREAT SERVICE had it in my hand in 24 hours took it to the range on sat put 200 rounds through it mostly steel case Tulammo just to get rid of it no problems I love this gun feels great in my hand nice fit and finish . I took my grandson with me only the second he has had a gun in his hand with only a little coaching he was putting 5 out of 5 on the steel at 25 yards every time, even my glock and sig buddies both shot it and liked it . Taurus did a great job with this one now, I'm looking at a compact for CC

I purchased this gun recently. On three separate occasions I fired 100 rounds down range. Hasn't jammed yet! For the price this gun is AMAZING.... love the two- tone look of it. In my opinion this is the best looking gun Taurus makes! I'm their biggest fan on facebook, ha-ha!

This gun feels like a shooter. I haven't yet had a chance to fire it but I can't wait. Cleaned it once I got it home. Breakdown was a breeze, I only needed to be told once, then did it a couple times after cleaning to have it down by memory. The magazines are stiff and a bit hard to load, I had trouble with 10 rounds but that's not the guns fault. Still have to learn the secrets of breaking in mags. Unlucky for me the price dropped $25 after I bought it but that price was a steal for the gun, this price is a giveaway. One thing to note in SA mode is that the trigger stays forward with a long "dead space" until single action tension. I imagine one trip to the range will have your muscle memory set. I have a GP100 and a 1911, have owned an XD40 and an HK USP40. But this is the gun that, when in my hand, just screams 'shoot me!'
