Fun to shoot and the long slide is great! But beware, unless you're willing to do your own gunsmithing, you may have unexpected slide lock with different shape bullets. Need to custom fit the slide lock. Not a big deal if you actually work on your own guns.

Haven’t got a chance to shoot the gun yet, very nice 1911. The beaver tail grips safety had some wear and a cut or scratch in it.
This is a brand new gun... I didn’t notice when I bought it from my FFL dealer so that’s my fault. Overall beautiful gun and a great gun maker

First off buds was great as usual. Fast shipping! Now the gun. The gun is nice. It has a great finish, good fit, good trigger. The sights for myself I find bad. The front sight consists of a very small diameter red fiber optic which is for my eyes hard to pick up on quickly. Other than the sights it's a good gun. I have shot 400 rds through it with a huge variety of ammunition and found it is a little picky on what ammo it likes. The best ammo as far as feeding reliability is American eagle 180gr. fmj, hornady critical duty 175gr flexlock, and sig sauer 180 gr. fmj. Everything else I tried had a few hiccups with feeding properly. A list of ammunition I have ran through this gun includes: Jesse James 165gr hbfp, Jesse james 180gr jhp, gold dot 200gr, fort scott munitions 124gr, sellier & bellet 180gr jhp & fmj, mantech 180gr jhp, and hornady 180gr xtp. All of these had at least 1 issue out of each mag tried. For the money it's not a bad gun I would honestly say.

Received the gun about two weeks ago. I opened the box to see an absolutely beautiful firearm. I’ve taken it to the range three times and couldn’t be happier. It is extremely accurate and has very little recoil considering the caliber. This has become my new favorite.

This is one of the best constructed and best shooting 1911s I've owned under $1,000. It's so we'll balanced and weighted that the recoil is very manageable....even with full power Corbon loads. Fiber optic front sight is fast to get on target. Easily keeps rounds inside a 3 inch group at 30 yards. Haven't hunted with it yet but I plan to go after Texas wild hogs Bud's is amazing. Ordered Tuesday night and it was at my LGS Thursday. Priced $300 under MSRP.

I love it. The recoil is light compared to my self defense .40 cal. and the gun is accurate. Trigger is crisp but a little heavy (lawyers). Adjusting the mainspring will fix that. Overall 5 out of 5.

got my pistol about two weeks ago. its a beautiful weapon. i have only put about 60 rounds through it but have had several failure to feeds. its more accurate than i can shoot it yet. hoping it breaks in and smooths out. first buy from buds. great experience. got the gun i think 4 days after i paid. looking forward to playing with it some more.

Excellent quality, great shooter. Great price. Slide release was a little tight, but loosened up nice after the first magazine. Pleased to find that it has a ramped barrel. Sights were right on out of the box with Armscorp. Wasn't sure I 'd like the G10 grips, but they feel fine, not too aggressive. Very comfortable to shoot. Highly recommended.
