This was a graduation present for my son from USCG Basic Training in 2010. He Loves it!

This is the ultimate hero gun. Glocks are for villains. I was expecting that I would have to make some customizations, such as the 'D' spring mod, the steel parts upgrade, skeletonized hammer, and so on, but this thing was good enough straight out of the box so I'm leaving it bone stock. I did buy a pair of Mec-Gar 20-round magazines, though.

Gun came in with a deep half inch scratch on the receiver next to the trigger. It came with two magazines. Shoots under an inch at 15 yards. Seems to like Speer and American Eagle Ammo. Cycles fine with cheap ammo like Winchester white box but didn\'t group as well. The controls are smooth. The sights are the old dot and post \"snowman\" sights. There are indentions for 3 dot, you could technically fill the two back indentions and make a 3 dot.

1st time buying from Bud's; it won't be my last; I'll be back for sure. Smooth transaction with zero surprises. Multiple email updates with every stage of the sale and shipping. This should be The Business Model for how to conduct online sales. As far as the firearm, it's a Beretta; what could possibly go wrong. I'm glad that I finally pulled the trigger on this purchase (cheesy pun intended) Looking forward to some range time later this week. Until then, I'll keep admiring this thing. Thanks again Bud's!

Without a doubt the finest shooting handgun I own. The fit and feel of the M9 in my hand is incredible. I love the dot and post sights and had no problems adjusting to them. It shoots like a dream. I have run several hundred rounds through it since purchase with zero issues. It has performed flawlessly with every single brand of ammo I have fed it, from premium ammo to reman. I used it to take my CHL test with confidence.Breakdown and cleaning is a breeze. I would highly recommend this as an addition to any collection. If I was limited to one handgun (God forbid), this would be the one. I was so pleased with this Beretta that I purchased a used 84F Cheetah (.380) sight unseen. Just as happy with it. You can't go wrong with the full size Beretta.

Took my new M9 to the range today for the first time. Started out at 10 yds with a fresh target. First shot, bullseye. Second shot, couldn't see it. Third shot, couldn't see it. Walked up to the target, and the three holes could have been covered with a nickle. Dang! Gun arrived soaking wet in oil. That's better than the alternative though. No damage whatsoever, and it's just gorgeous! The first thing that came to mind after shooting the first mag was SMOOTH. The workmanship on this gun is just flawless. Everything about it is perfect - except for the plastic guide rod. I ordered a blued steel one from Wolff, and put it in before I even fired it. The factory guide rod may be fine in other M9's, but it's not going back in mine! The action felt even smoother with the steel guide rod, and it looks great too. This was my first purchase from Bud's, and it won't be the last! They have online firearm transactions down to a science. So easy, and never a doubt as to the status of your order. Simply a great experience in every way.
