easy buy with no problems

Excellent concealed carry 45. Surprisingly slim and easy to handle.

This has been a great CCW for me, small enough to hide well with IWB or in cargo pockets, but enough size to shoot comfortably. I have also put this gun through the paces before using it as my conceal carry, firing every few days without cleaning after initial break in, roughly 300 rounds and not one problem even with it being dirty. After that I cleaned it up real well, placed oil on it and heated everything but the springs and polymer grip in my stove at about 150 degrees for 30 minutes to ensure the oil penetrated into the metal. This thing was nice out of the box but has been smooth as butter since. Have now put about 2500 rounds down range with 2 hang fires (ammo related).

Amazing gun. I added Hogue grips to give it a better fit in my hand, but man is this gun sweet. 8 rounds of .45 is more than enough to deal with any issues you may run into, and I found it very accurate at 25-30 yards. Smith and Wesson is a solid company and I will always support a New England gun company! Thank you to buds as always!

Great slide action, smooth with controllable recoil. Compact design is easy to conceal. Only issue I have found is that my favorite holster maker has no option for this weapon YET. :-)

I've had the 9mm version for a while and wanted to up my game. The .45 version is much grippier than the 9 and the extended mags have a solid baseplate rather than the separate sleeve on the 9's mags. When you field strip the firearm you will see that the ridge under the slide which rides the top round has little circles - which appear to be tool marks. According to S&W they are there on purpose so don't polish the slide no matter how OCD you are.
