Nice gun and fun to shoot. Well made and has a great trigger. Neat little round.

Hands down one of the best bolt action rifles I ever owned. A joy to shoot for a long range day and accuracy at 100 yards no problem. The magazine is a little funky butt work through it . Great price.

Fun to shoot, included scope is a little on the cheap side, but still functional.

Purchasing from Buds is always effortless. This Savage is a very nice rifle. Already had it out and the rifle shots great. Rifles, scope and magazine work flawlessly. Would definitely recommend!

Shipping was fast and the order process was smooth. I was too lazy to buy the rifle and shop for s separate scope, so I purchased the rifle/scope combo. When I unpacked the gun I noticed the spacing on the scope mounting rings was uneven- one side had the rings closed shut- the other side had a large gap. I corrected the spacing (no it was not hard to do) but time will tell if the scope stays solid and the thing shoots consistent. This simple issue left a sloppy first impression of what should prove to be a great gun.

The rifle came in and was in perfect shape. I used one of buds preferred ffl and the shipment was shipped out very quickly and was at the ffl before I could even go get it. Always been happy with buds service.

I am extremely impressed with Bud's Gun Shop, also the product they sent me. The Savage 17 HMR is awesome. I just got done shooting 75 rounds and can't wait to fire it again. Thank you Bud's Gun shop.

This was my first order with Bud's and it could not have been any smoother. Transaction was seamless from purchase to pick up at my local FFL. The whole process took 5 days. That being said, I couldn't be more happy with the Savage .17 HMR. I will be back and I will refer Bud's to friends.

Would not buy another one. Its not a high quality firearm. Clip mechanism is poorly made and hard to load. Bolt action is rough and does not chamber cartridges smoothly. Have shot 3 clips through it, and had to manually remove one spent shell from the chamber on every clip.
