This Savage gun is accurate as it gets, at 125 yards I was putting holes in the middle of quarters, The polymer stock is not bad as people say. You could always change to a Boyd thumb hole stock, The price, shipping and customer service from Buds was A . This rifle topped with a Nikon 4x12x40 is awesome!. Now I will admit you get some guys that are CZ USA fans, CZ guns may have a nicer finish etc but for accuracy, price and there finish isn't bad ya just can't beat it and 17HMR ammo is a lot easier to find then 22 WMR. BTW if you change to a pretty boyd stock that's all your going to get is a more pretty looking gun, accuracy is the same!.

I am completely satisfied with tihis rifle...can't believe the accuracy.

This is a great shooting rifle. I mounted a cheap BSA scope on it and was shooting groups of less than a half inch at 100 yds. Also love the accutrigger, no need to buy expensive aftermarket replacement trigger. Stock is a little cheap feeling but does the job and barrel is free floated.
