The stock isn’t impressive but is not as flimsy as I was expecting. Action is pretty rough, loosening up slowly. Accurate though. Best price on a platform that can shoot sub MOA and I’ll plan on upgrading the stock later. Very satisfied.

This rifle is accurate, easy to maintain and fun to shoot. The only negative is it comes with only 1 mag. But this is a great trainer and probably my favorite rifle

Good for the price. Pros: Shoots well, is accurate and consistent. Easy to disassemble and clean. Cons: Terrible extractor. Fails to extract way more than I'm comfortable with.

Purchased this for critter control on the farm. Sweet Sweet rifle. Very comfortable to hold and accurate. Bolt action is smooth and trigger control excellent. Highly recommend if you are looking for a .22 caliber.

Brand new gun had a few minor scratches and the sights weren’t centered very well (both front and rear). At least 1 or 2 failures to eject out of every 10 rounds. It does shoot straight and holds a pretty good group. Bottom line this gun is not worth the $200 that it cost.

Bought for my Boy Scout son and I to use and works great. Dependable and easy for him to learn on.

Great value 22. Mounted inexpensive scope and shoots 1” groups at 50 yards. Great trigger that’s adjustable.

Initial inspection-as expected. You get what you pay for. Maybe a little more in this case.?
First fire-failure to extract about every 10th round or so. Not sure if this is common. But I am sure after a good clean and lube it will be worked out after break in.
Overall-It is obvious that it will need a decent 1000 round break in period..bolt is very ratchety.
Accuracy for me, an average shooter, was great (used 3 diff. round manufactures).
My son, who is new to shooting, was hitting a 3" group at 25m, with just the front sight post.

Rifle is well made. The only issue is the sights. The front sight bead is small and somewhat hard to see. If you are planning on putting a scope on it no issue at all. Fit and finish are great. Action will need cleaned and oiled to smooth it out but it will break in with some more use. Overall good buy for a squirrel and varmint rifle.

First off, i have bought more guns from buds than any other site.Very rarely do i find a better price on what i am looking for,,,,,This is a great little gun for less than $200. Took to the range and put up a paper plate at 100 yards and it was almost right on, just a little low. Did a few adjustment and now its easy to stay on paper with just open sights. Just ordered some see thru scope rings to add a scope to get more fine tuned and still use iron sights also. This is my 4th savage and they have all been great shooters..

The pic is wrong. This is not the heavy-barreled version with scope mounts. This is the skinny-barreled version with adjustable sights, based on the model number. Just thought you should know before you buy, thinking you're getting the one pictured.
