Nice 22 plinker. Like the bolt action the only problem is a lack of windage adjustment with the iron sights. Easily resolved with a cheap Simmons scope. No FTF with 200rounds of Armscor ammo. I like it

As described. Very easy transition from Buds, as always. Very inexpensive pricing, as always. Arrived in perfect condition, as always. The only complaint I have is the length of time from cash payment to shipping, as always. Buds needs to improve lead time from payment to shipping, or give 2 day shipping if the process of getting cash payment takes as long as they assert.

I wanted a simple straight forward 22 just for fun shooting and that's what this. Sights were off a bit but no big deal. Shoots good, hits what I point it at and 22 ammo is cheap. put about 300 rounds through it and no issues at all. Tried the Buds lay away, just to see how it went, and it was easy. Buds shipped fast, kept me well informed and I would't hesitate to buy any other gun here. Fun simple gun, good service from Buds and my FFL, Ocean Armory.

You can't go wrong with this gun! Great trigger and nice furniture. Bolt was a bit tight at first but a short action nun the less. I would recommend the wood stock over the plastic one. It has a bit more weight and is thicker.

I ordered the gun online with store pickup. As always, the staff was pleasant to deal with when I picked up the rifle. I’ve had the rifle out just once but it performed as expected. I had zero issues with the gun. The bolt was a little stiff initially but was noticeably easier by the time I ended my session. Good accuracy. Fit and finish are good for a $200 rifle. I’m a happy camper with Buds and the Savage Mark IIG.

After initial unboxing the rifle seems to be in good condition. I have yet to take it to the range to test function. If I had 1 complaint it would be the quality of the wood stock. It feels more like laminate than real wood. For a roughly$200 plinker I'm not going to actually complain about it though. The gun does seem to be of good quality, just like my other Savage rimfires. I am also happy that it came with a 10 round magazine. Buds was great as always. I have yet to have an issue with an order

Great rifle! Great deal! Good shooting rifle. Have put several hundred rounds thru it without an issue. Doesn't seem picky on bullet brands. Worth the investment. Cost a little more than the $150 range poly rifles that are out there, but the Savage is a lot better made. Beautiful wood!

As usual, buds service was great. This is a very accurate little shooter for the price. The action is nice and smooth too. The trigger is also very nice. The finish could have had a little more detail, but for the price it is not bad. If you are looking for a single bolt action .22, then you can't beat this gun for the price.

First off, the Bud's service was excellent, as usual. The rifle itself is very accurate, easily MOA or better with match-grade ammo. All I had to do was dial in the torque on the action screws until the groups tightened up, and away it went. It's also light. For right under $200, you couldn't ask for more rifle for the money. Good job Savage, and thank you Bud's!
