Very Nice Gun! You can\'t go wrong with Smith & Wesson, and you can\'t go wrong with Bud\'s Gun Shop! Whether online or in the store, the service and pricing will keep you coming back for more.

Excellent revolver........classic "tried & true" design; shoots true and fits my hand (which I think is the most important thing in a handgun). Very effective at 15 & 25 yards. High quality stainless steel manufacture and finish which you would expect from S&W (I'm pretty much a "Ruger guy") Could very well be the best .357 ever made in it's configuration. Too bad it's not a six-shot but that's probably because S&W designed it to be compact but still effective at practical distances. I can't see it as an "ankle gun" but then, that's probably not it's intended design anyway Perfect length and balance. It's a "keeper" for sure.....

This S&W Model 60 is an excellent all stainless steel J-frame revolver. Being all stainless steel helps to tame the recoil of .357 magnum and +P loads. Cylinder lockup is very positive and solidly indexes. Fit and finish overall is typical outstanding S&W quality. Grip is comfortable and fits well in the hand. The only drawback to the Model 60 is the front sight, which is serrated and black in color. I would prefer a red insert. But this drawback is personal preference vice a complaint about the quality of the revolver. As usual, purchasing from Bud's is an excellent experience.

A lot of power in a small and light gun. It really smacks your hand with full go 125gr 357,s. I do not remember who but somebody makes a round to square butt conversion to get the grip bigger. If you are going to use it for a carry gun use it as it is. When you need it recoil will not be a factor. Usual smith. I call them jewelry.

Very happy with this revolver. It is light enough for comfortable concealed carry. I tried 3 types of cartridges: 38 Spec, 38 Spec + p, and 357 in 110 grn for faster velocity. As expected, there was more recoil snap with the hotter loads. But, all were controllable. I plan to primarily use the 38 + p. The 3 in. barrel is too long for normal pocket carry. But, it will fit into the larger pocket of a Berne or Carhartt style jacket. I plan to normally carry it, Mexican style, with a trigger holster. I did not need to adjust the sights. I shot it out to 15 yds. The accuracy is excellent for combat shooting. The rubber-like grips feel a bit small for my average size hands. But, that was not a problem. They are also very comfortable. I will keep them for easier concealment. The trigger pull is a little heavy and long. This provides an extra measure of safety that I like. In single action, the trigger is very, very, light. I will not use it unless I am going to shoot. So, double action only for self-defense.
