This is a beautiful firearm. Like all Henry rifles, it does not disappoint from the minute you open the box. I had two or three mis-feeds on the first day at the range, but I'm chalking that up to not being aggressive enough with the lever action. Most sweet rifle.

i initially purchased this firearm then they told me they did not have them in stock. They canceled the order but still took the money, then three days later the rifle appeared available again! Well because buds has a decent price i bought the firearm from them but i am having a horrible experience with buds. As far as the firearm is concerned IT IS GREAT! beautifully made and is definitely an heirloom for generations to come GOOD JOB HENRY! As far as buds is concerned not happy at all...

Wow what a beautiful gun. Never purchased online and Buds Guns made the transaction pain free. The guns action is smooth and very fast, and the expected high quality you get from Henry. Thanks to you and will do business again as soon as some other firearms become available from my wish list.

Got to shoot the Henry with my son and grandson this week. It was awesome. We took 4 guns to the range and the Henry was the only one that took 1 click on the rear sight to hit dead center at 50 yards with iron sights. We put over 100 rounds thru her without a hint of a problem. The 38 special round was sweet, and the 357 let you know it was there.. Even with the heavy barrel. Great gun, fun to shoot. The rifle was the hit of the 5 or 6 lanes next to us. I am hoping Santa brings us a 44 Mag next year. Thanks again to the Elves at Buds, they do a remarkable job. Thanks to Henry Repeating Arms for building a great American made product.

I have been eyeing the Henry Big Boy for a while now. When I ran across Bud's Price and also Bud's had the hard to locate 357 Big Boy, time to pull trigger. Could not be any Happier with the purchase. Bud's is a straight shooter, good service. The Henry is a peace of art work in a fire arm. Very pleasant to shoot. I purchased some " Bear Load 180 grn " SJHP ammo that was a little to long and would not cycle smooth. I mean 1.605. It would drag bullet tip on the Mag Tube on the way up to chamber. The Hornaday is 1.575 long, fine. Stay under 1.600 long and it clears. Returned the Bear Load. The Hornaday is well worth the little extra. Very hot accurate loads. I also have some New brass FMJWC runs well through the Henry. Good range ammo. This is a great rifle. Fun to shoot, easy on the recoil. Many questions and looker's at the range. I believe the Big Boy 44 mag is next. Or the 30 30. American made with pride and it shows. Shoots as good as it looks.
