I have shot 500+ rounds with out a problem. This is my seventh Taurus all of them have been great guns. I will be buying more guns from Bud's.

Great gun, shot over 200 rounds so far. Easy to shoot, easy to load, easy to aim. Added a green laser to the rail, looks good and aims well. Also put white punisher grips on it, looks great! Cant believe its under $1000! Better choice for the money for sure!

I was very impressed with the look and feel of this gun when it arrived, but after a little time at the range I would recommend this gun to anyone looking for an inexpensive 1911. Don't let the price fool you this is a very nice and well built gun with extras you won't get with others in it's price range. As for Bud's, they delivered as usual. Great guns, great deals, and fast shipping.

As always, very happy with Buds on purchase. Took it to the range after initial cleaning, ran 3 boxes of varied brands range ammo and 2 clips of JHP through it w/o a problem. It grouped nice, and feels great. I don't care for the Heinie straight 8 sights, but I knew it had them when I ordered it. I am disappointed with the rail though, as it's advertised as a 1913 picatinney, but my 1913 accessories won't fit it. The cut is too narrow to be 1913. Also, a chunk of the plastic grip fell off from the ambi-safety cut area during the initial cleaning, so I'm still waiting for replacements from Taurus which, yes...you guessed it, leaves my pistol w/o grips because they won't cross ship warranty items. This is my 2nd out of 3 Taurus firearms that I've had to render useless for weeks or months while waiting for warranty items to be replaced. Taurus customer service has always taken care of the issue, but the requirement of sending in parts to get parts w/o an option of cross shipping is ridiculous, IMO. This pistol loses 2 stars for the rail issue. I would've selected another model if I had known I couldn't use my accessories on it.

Great gun. If you're a 1911 model fan get one of these. I've shot hundreds of rounds without a problem. Very accurate and it's heavy enough that if you ran out of rounds you could beat the intruder with the gun. LOL! The purchase from Bud's was flawless as always. Bob K. Gainesville, Fl

I purchased this weapon just over one year ago. Flawless transaction. As for the weapon itself I couldn't have asked for more. I was skeptical about Taurus. NOT ANY MORE. This is as fine a 1911 as i have fired, and at a price that's untouched by any manufacturer. My fathers shoots a custom colt 1911, and several of my friends own Kimbers. They were all overwhelmed with the quality and accuracy of the PT-1911. My father immediately purchased one in the duotone finish. If you are on the fence, let me ease your mind. BUY IT!!! you will not regret it.
