Pros: Love the trigger pull. Very smooth. It is Still light weight even with a fully loaded magazine. Perfect size for CCH. Surprisingly mild recoil for a 9mm which is great because I am a woman. Not too difficult to dismantle for cleaning. Cons: TWO BIG ONES: 1. Polymer Rails. VERY little stainless and only at the place where the hammer would be if it had one. From there forward, rails are PLASTIC (polymer). 2, If the magazine is fully loaded, the first round will NOT load and it has to be removed manually. I contacted KHAR and they told me to load the magazine with one less round. This does work, but IO don't see why this should have to be done to make the handgun fire correctly. Another con, the slide if difficult to pull back to load ther chamber and seems tostick slightly half way back. definitely not a smooth action. Its ticks where the pin is located. I don't like the sights. It is difficult for me to line up the dots so my accuracy is not as good as it should be. All-in-all, I would reasearch small CCHs before I decided to buy the Kahr Pm9 9mm. If I had, I probably would not have bought it.

I bought my PM9 for CC use and I needed to break it in. I followed the prep thread over on the Kahr forums. I wasn't too concerned about accuracy. I mainly wanted to make sure it cycled flawlessly. Ammo I used was some Federal FMJ. I went through 200 rounds and all of them cycled flawlessly except one. I had a FTF and the slide locked back. When I checked the chamber the round was nose down in the magazine. I ejected the magazine and reinserted it. Released the slide and it fired every round after that without any more failures. Even though I wasn't focused on accuracy, I did check my groupings. At 7 yards I was getting groupings at about 6 inches and 7 inches at 10 yards. This gun has a fair amount of recoil and the trigger pull is long. It will take you some time to get used to it. I was aware of this potential issue before I bought the gun. The issue is that you might have a problem with the bullet catching the slide lever causing the slide to lock back and a FTF. I had checked and it looked like clearance was good on both the range FMJ and defensive JHP I have. As such when I got home from the range I broke it down and filed down the slide lever ever so slightly. Now I just need to get back to the range to test it again to see if I get another failure. Don't worry though, if you're thinking about buying the PM9 don't let this throw you off. If you experience this problem you don't need to do what I did as you can just have Kahr send you another slide lever to resolve the issue. Overall I'm VERY happy with the gun. However, I've decided I need more magazines to take to the range. Two just doesn't cut it.

Awesome quality, very accurate for such a short barrel. Break it in properly before you carry and you're golden. I couldn't ask for a better concealed gun.

I purchased this gun at the urging of a friend with a lot of experience in firearms. He used words such as reliable, eats anything and easlily concealed. He wasn't lying. I've had this gun a few weeks and have put about 250 rounds through it with no problems. It will eat anything and spit it back out with ease. This is my first pistol and shooting it accurately is not a problem. It shoots very well with little recoil. The only knock on it would be the long trigger pull. It will take getting used to but I can deal with it. I can easliy conceal it in loose fitting shorts with ease and will look into a ankle holster for when I wear pants. I'd definitely reccomend this for someone who is looking for a extremely reliable concealed weapon or a LEO looking for a backup weapon. You don't be disappointed.
