My favorite handgun thus far, I have nothing but good to say about it. It feels good in the hand and recoil is not bad at all with 38's or 357's. Simply a beautiful revolver that works. Highly recommend :)

I am very impressed with my Taurus Tracker 357 mag. 7 round stainless. I have been shooting handguns for over 40 years. I have several of the major name brands. This revolver has a good trigger pull and is very accurate. After couple hundred rounds with 38 special and 357 mag. Absolutely no problems.Ordering from Bud's was kind of a computer game but not to difficult for a computer illiterate person like me.

I could not be happier with my first time purchase from Buds. I saw Hickok45 on U-tube, he recommended Buds. I bought this .357, price was very reasonable and they made it easy to locate a FFL. I bought it in the AM and the next day my FFL called to say they had it...they must ship next day air.. I was worried about the length of time the FFL (pawn/shop- gold sellers) would take. It took about half the time that it takes me at Cabela\'s. Will be definitely checking them out for my next purchase..Ammo, been on line and their pricing looks very good. Happy in MN.

Picked up this jewel from my FFL yesterday afternoon and took it to the range this morning. Years ago I sold a S&W Model 19 and have regretted it ever since, so this looked like a suitable replacement. The model 19 was a great gun but I like this one even better. I put Pachmayr grips on it last evening, based on some of the reviews here and elsewhere by other folks and found that to be a good decision. The sites were accurate right out of the box and the gun itself was every bit as smooth and stable as advertised. I put .38 ammo through it, then some .38 +P and then lots of .357. The gun performed flawlessly and was a delight to shoot. It's my new favorite handgun.

Well, this gun was on its way to being a 4-5 star gun. Then I attempted to extract the first set of spent shells. There was so much machine tooling marks on the chambers that casings wouldn\'t extract without me pulling them out. It\'s absolutely ridiculous that in the manufacturing and QC process at Taurus doesn\'t evaluate and catch such sloppy manufacturing. I had to hone down the machine marks preventing smooth extraction. A royal pain. Other than this defect I like the gun. . The cylinder extraction is a little clunky and it look a deep clean and lubrication to get it spinning well. It\'s heavy and even the stout 357 rounds produce minimal recoil. The poor fit and finish is why this isn\'t priced as a S&W. spend an extra 150-200 if you aren\'t willing to perform some tuning after purchase.
