Purchased this product from Buds about three weeks ago, pistol arrived heavily oiled, with a smooth action and clean trigger pull. Finish was in good condition, i.e no scratches and was very uniform. HOWEVER the pistol I received was not what I would consider to be a glossy blued finish as indicated in the picture. Instead, my Taurus model 66B4 arrived with a matte black finish similar to a parkerized finish like is seen on most "black guns." I don't have any problem with the finish being different than expected because I don't anticipate this Taurus becoming a family heirloom, and although I prefer the aesthetics of a blued finish, I have found that parkerized finished are extremely durable, and for this firearm, I believe that to be an asset. I have fired 100+ rounds of 38 Special through this firearm and it has been exceptionally accurate with no misfires right out of the box. Sights did not need to be adjusted, and I was hitting 6" targets consistently at 20 yards freehand. SA trigger pull was lighter than my Dan Wesson .357, which I found hard to believe. DA trigger pull was lighter and smoother than my buddies DAO S&W .38 which we were also shooting that day. This pistol won't be winning any beauty contests, but I prefer the matte finish over blued for durability, and I prefer the matte black over matte stainless for concealability at night. I was a little nervous purchasing a Taurus, but the model I received has one of the best triggers I have ever fired, and the rest of the firearm seems very well made. Recoil from .38 rounds was almost non-existent. Solid. Accurate. Reliable.

I was able to get out to the range and let off some stress. The Taurus M66 rocks. Very accurate right out of the box. I'm very happy with this purchase and, I'm considering buying another.

Gun arrived quickly. Shot several 38's and 357's through it and it performed really well. Very satisfied with the product and Buds service.

Taurus Model 66 is a solid gun with great grips and a nice finish. The gun was delivered to my FFL within three days of my ordering it. It was heavily oiled out of the box, but after a quick cleaning I took it to the range and fired 50 rounds of 38 special through it with no problems. There was very little recoil using 38 special. True test will come when I put some +p and 357 rounds through it. The service from Bud’s was first rate!!

Surprisingly well built gun which shoots as well as many of the expensive Smith & Wesson's and Colts. Great revolver for the price.

Seems there is a very small area of abrasion in the upper grove on the left side of the barrel. Other than that, the piece seems perfect. I'll be taking it to the range this weekend. Thanks for the prompt service. Looking forward to future orders. George Taylor
