Buds is the best. Purchased about 5 weapons. Great customer service and great prices. I'm a Taurus fan and they have a good selection. Thanks Buds and always giving out your website. Friends are having great experience.

One of the best values in a 357 around.

For Bud's selling price, this little gem represents the best value for the money in a compact, stainless steel, .357 Magnum. Taurus' has been building quality wheel guns for quite a few decades and this one is no disappointment. The finish is a modern satin matte with clear, crisp markings, the surfaces even with nicely broken edges. The fit and finish of this revolver is on par with S&W across the board, and consider it cost less than half that of it's S&W counterpart benefits the consumer who wants value for their dollar. Out of the box all controls felt smooth and clean without any internal grittiness felt. DA pull is expectedly stiff, with SA pull quite light by auto pistol standards, but with a hint of creep just prior to let off. The tiny grip is not ideal of shooting, but is certainly ideal for concealed carry which is where this gun is meant to serve. Shooting, with .38 Special loads is very comfortable and even fun due to the all steel gun's 24 ounce heft. Even though "portly" by alloy standards, with .357 Magnum loads this thing puts out a serious kick that stings the palm while reassuring the shooter the power of the load. When shooting .357 Magnum loads I'm not sure there is such a thing as a "comfortable" one though there is a wide disparity among factory loads so one can do a little search and find .357 loads at the lower end of the spectrum - around 500 lb-ft of KE from standard length barrels. Though I doubt many will be able to handle it, if the ultimate in power is desired, Underwood makes a 180 grain hard cast that would be a potent antidote to most wild animals in the field, but it's not a load one would likely enjoy practicing with at the range. As can be expected, case extraction after firing full-power Magnum loads can be challenging, but this is common across all brands due to the pressure of the round. Having said that, much too much is made of "reloading" in a "firefight" even though FEW private citizens, or even public servants EVER "reload" during a shooting encounter. Generally speaking, you have what you brought IN the gun, and five .357 Magnum loads is pretty stout medicine. Overall, Taurus is building top-drawer guns that are selling at economy prices, and I highly recommend anyone looking for a reliable, well-built, attractive, lifetime warrantied .357 Magnum give this gun a try! Overall I say BUY THIS GUN! (When you can find it in stock!)

Great concealable gun, handles both .38 special and .357 mags. Crisp smooth trigger pull, cylinders lock up tight. At the range it shoots well with .38 special, the rubber grip cushioned .357 Magnum loads enough that they weren't painful. Nice carry gun giving you the option to shoot .357 loads over similar .38 only guns for the money. Buds delivered on time, easy to buy from.

nice little snub nose......very controllable w/38spc.........haven\'t tried 38spc p or 357mag in it yet but already have a 603 so have a pretty good idea......grip pretty thin.....may be a little too this for 357 loads as these pack a pretty good kick in a small frame........like having the option though if going camping etc. and run into something more substantial then a human...........rough tool mark on the inside cylinder cover where the latch pin swings out.....had to take a rnd file and some 1000grite to polish it out....didn\'t affect performance but should not have left the factory that way......good choice for a small framed shooter.......can\'t beat a wheel gun for simplicity and reliability under stress........trigger not bad......
