Bought this gun recently, took more than a week before it was ship to my FFL and then I had to wait for the 10-day waiting period, imposed on California residents, to expire. I was so eager to test my new gun when I finally got it but I found out the cylinder occasionally does not lock-up making it potentionally dangerous to fire. I had to send it Taurus for correctional repair for another wait, they said, of four weeks before I could lay my hands on the brand new gun again. This is not good. Anyway let us see after I get my handgun back how they fix it. I'll make another rating.

This handgun is fun to shoot. But be prepaired to clean the cylinder often.......take your cleaning kit to the range with you. After a few rounds the gun heats up drastically and you will have trouble getting the brass out. But then, I guess if you're in a situation where you need more than 16 rounds, this should just be your back up anyway. I will say that for a gun with just a 2 "" barrel, it is surprisingly accurate from longer distances than I expected. Extremely heavy trigger pull, but I'm getting use to it. If you don't mind spending a lot of time cleaning instead of shooting, and you're looking for a dependable, (for 8-16 rnds anyway) accurate back up or bedside weapon, this one is OK. And the price isn't bad either. Cheaper here than what I paid. But so far that seems to apply to all of my hand gun purchases lately. Wish I had discovered this site a few months ago. Especially before I bought my 24/7 9 mm.
