I bought this Taurus 85 back several months ago and two of the cylinder holes were not drilled out all the way. I sent the gun back to Taurus twice for the same problem and like previous costumer service that I have had with Taurus it takes 6 weeks to 8 months to get your gun back. This 85 model had factor defects and it took 6-8 weeks to get back the first time and several more weeks the following repair of the second hole not drill, which they should have fixed the first time. Poor quality control is what it boles down to. My history with Taurus in the last two years, out of 5 guns three revolvers two went back to Taurus and those two had to have trigger jobs done on them and I bought a PT 25 that has to go back to Taurus also, and last I bought a PT145pro which has turned out to be a great gun so far. Be aware of Taurus especially the horrible customer service. I have not had a problem with Buds I would give Buds an A+++++.

Kick-ass gun! Bought it for my wife because it is so "pretty" She already has a Model 941 in .22 WMR. The ports in the barrel keep the recoil to a minimum. It's still a little more than the 941 The regular weight gun would probably have less recoil. My wife LOVES it because it's VERY light, yet shoots well. By the way........The trigger pull is MUCH better than that of the 941
