I liked the feel of this gun and the looks but I'm not real happy with the trigger pull.. it just feels strange you have to pull it back what seems like mile before it fires..

I had stopped buying from Buds for quite some time, I was having problems with delivery's, But I really wanted one of these PT945's and Buds had the best price, I'm a big Taurus fan and have been for quite some time now.. I own 8 Taurus pistols, I opened the box and WOW after got all the gunk cleaned off of the gun I love the way this gun looks feels and fits my hand, I have not shot it yet, But unless it shoots back wards, I love this gun, I'm a pretty big guy, 6ft 275 lbs and this guns feel great in my hands, The weight is perfect, I can not say one thing bad about this gun.. I absolutely love every thing about it.. I plan on selling some of my other guns and getting the whole line of these 9mm .40 .38 super all of them...

Although the gun is beautiful, there are a few problems . Most of the newer Taurus models come with a hard case...this 1911 however, does not. It is simply in a cardboard box. The gold accents look more like brass. Slide was extremely stiff and caused ejected rounds to 'stovepipe'. After 30 rounds or so, the slide eased up and no longer jammed. Plan on going to the range and putting a box of rounds through it before it is the only thing in between you and death. This is not a Kimber...it is built more like the old Colt 1911. Bud's has one of the lowest prices (even with the ridiculous 'no cash' fee). My order was delivered 16 days from when I ordered. All and all, it was a great buy. It is a good idea to ask any questions elsewhere, as Bud's is too busy to answer the phone. Although my knowledge is mainly limited to my Marine Corps career and my shooting for fun in the yard, if you have any questions I may be able to help; shoot me an email [email protected]
