I originally bought this pistol for my girlfriend for a conceal carry weapon... She had fired a similar pistol at the range with some of my friends. As far as the pistol goes, it is a great gun. It is extremely light and easy for her to handle, though it does kick pretty good when using the +P ammo!.. We have taken it out several times now, shooting at several close range targets. I can hit bottles at 25+ yards, so I am completely satisfied. The only caution that I will give, is pay attention to the finish of the gun. I did not do enough research and bought this pistol thinking it would have a shiny stainless look. I got the dull matte finish instead, which is not quite what she was wanting. This however was not a big problem because I like the way this gun looks, so I will undoubtedly keep it for myself and simply buy her a different one... Thanks Buds for a great gun at a great price and for shipping it so flawlessly!..

just received this gun today and WOW what a crappy looking gun. it's has a dull gray finish and it's doesn't look like anything on the picture shown on the website WHICH IS A NICE SHINNING GUN... i made the mistake of accepting the gun and now it's mine. i guess i deserve it.

As always Buds was awesome, quick shipping and smooth transaction. The Taurus is amazing! I picked it up the other day, and before firing it I removed the side plate and deep cleaned the internals. That made a big difference in the trigger pull. The gun performed flawlessly at the range without any failures. I fired 50 rounds of Magtech 158 grain and 100 rounds of WWB 130 grain FMJ. I also ran 10 rounds of WWB 125 grain JHP +P. The gun has a stout recoil (especially with +P's) but it is very managable and easy to aquire the target for quick follow-up shots. The trigger pull is very smooth (after a deep cleaning of course), and does not fatigue your finger. All-in-all this gun is very pleasant to shoot, and very accurate for a 2" barrel. It's easy to put all 5 shots quickly on a 10" steel plate from 50 feet away. This gun is an excellent choice for what it is designed to do, it makes a great carry weapon, home defense, or backup LEO weapon. I am very pleased with this purchase, and I look forward to dealing with Buds in the near future.

I bought this a a concealed carry gun since it is lite, compact, and easy to handle, HOWEVER, I will not be trusting my life to this weapon since it has trouble cycling brass of various makes. I tried several different brands...commercial and military. It binds to the point that I almost can't get the cyclinder open....and forget dependable double action shots.....it may shoot ...it may bind. The accuracy is good when it does fire...if your not having to pull the trigger so hard it throws the shot off completely. I like the little gun....just not dependable. I have an older Rossi that is more dependable. I am pretty disappointed. Got good service from Bud's this time. Not happy with the FFL I pickup up from....was told before I picked it up that I would get a discount for being private investigator/retired military....but was denied at the time of sale. Won't be using Lakeside Guns in Acworth GA anymore.

Arrived from Bud's exactly as described. Fired 100 rounds first day without any glitches. Trigger seems to smooth out alot after some use. Was extremely stiff at first. Overall a great little pistol for the money, and goes bang bang every time. Recoil is a little stiff, but not too bad for a snubby weighing 18.5 ounces at birth :).
