Bought this little Taurus flip-up for the wife. Great little gun.

Sweet little gun. No feeding issues. I've shot 4 different kinds of ammo, both standard and high velocity with no problems. Grips came loose, but nothing a little locktite can't fix. Very happy at this price point.

Not happy with this pistol. The trigger pull is WAY TOO LONG for me. I purchased one previously for a lady friend of mine and that one shoots just fine. I don't know whay the problem with this one exists but it makes it very uncomfortable to shoot.

Great first Gun!! I ordered on a Friday and picked up from my FFL on Thursday. Can't ask for better service than that. Thank you Buds Gun Shop for creating a great experience for my first gun.

This is a fantastic little pocket pistol. I purchased it mainly for concealed carry when walking my dog at night. It's small and light enough that I can comfortably carry it in the pocket of my robe. I've put approximately 200 rounds of mostly CCI .22LR through it and I haven't had a single malfunction. The slide is terribly difficult to work, however, and it's best if you manually chamber a round using the pop up barrel. I called Taurus customer service and asked about the slide difficulty and they said this was intentional. Aside from needing to be the Incredible Hulk to work the slide, though, it's a fantastic little gun that seems to be reliable. For the price, I highly recommend it!

Great little pocket gun. Love the plastic case that it came in, unlike some other manufacturers. Bud's, of course always has great service.

Excellent small compact pistol. Fit and finish was excellent. I fed it several brands including Federal Lightning and Remington and no issues so far. I've been able to hit 2" spinner targets at 15 paces, so pretty happy with it's accuracy.

Nicely made little pistol. The short barrel gives a lot of noise and muzzle flash. The recoil is minimal and the trigger very similar to an Ruger LCP, maybe lighter. After firing aprox. 60 rounds of mixed brands of ammo, including some really old remington stuff, I had 100% functionality. It was all "high velocity" (1200 fps aprox) stuff with 40 grain bullets and I had not one failure to feed or fire except one gnarly old corroded round that just was not up to snuff. Rapid fire, slow fire, all worked. All good except the point of impact did not match the sights unfortunately. This is the only negative. At 7 yards point of impact was about 2.5 inches to eight o'clock from point of aim. This needs more work and evaluation, but it is not encouraging. I give 4 out of 5 stars.

I bought this little fella about a year ago. My FFL (a retired LEO) said it was a popular little ankle gun and would work well if treated properly... His advice: feed it well, DON'T "GUNSMITH" IT(!), don't overclean it and don't try to cycle the slide. He said he had seen these things work perfectly dry, filthy and full of pocket lint. He was right. I bought a cheap mag; it wouldn't feed well. I bought a factory mag; it worked perfectly. I clean and oiled it religiously; it jammed, stovepiped and FTE'd. Usually on the first or second mag. Of course it did! A tiny bit of oil in the chamber will, sooner or later, bake into glue... usually sooner. Bone dry, it will fire reliably all day long. It likes mini-mags or some of the better high-velocity bulk ammo. It doesn't like hollow points or cheap, soft lead bullets. Stingers are NOT recommended and are very hard on the gun. A dab of grease on the slide, tiny drop of oil here and there, wipe the bore and chamber bone dry and you won't have a problem. I still bring the "mouse gun" out for family day at the range. Nobody can hit anything with it but, it's fun to shoot. I can put 8 or 9 out of 10 shots inside the rings on a 50' bullseye target at 25'. It's not a target gun. If I had listened to my FFL to begin with.... it works well if treated properly. The gun works fine. The shooter needs his ears cleaned. I have to give it a solid 4 stars.

This gun is a POS!!! Right out of the box it would stove pipe on me. I have never been able to get it to fire right no matter what ammo or how clean the gun is. The gun didn't come with any warranty registration info so I can't get Taurus to fix it. This gun is a total waste of time and money. Save your money and get something else. Not saying taurus doesn't make a good gun. I have a PT 140 Millenium Pro and it works great, but this gun is worthless.

This little gun is so beautiful, shoot and field like a dream. wee put some 22Lr ammo through it and the only ammo that work good was the CCI Stinger, and other hyper velocity ammo,. Other than that is a terrific gun for the money..

This pt22 shoots great. I put alot of ammo in with no issues.

I was looking for a cheap .22 for plinking and saw Bud's great price. I already owned a Taurus PT1911SSAR also purchesed from Bud's, that has been a great gun. So evan after reading some negative reviews on the PT22 I bought it. Very happy I did, the gun is built solid and looks great, the finish is durable. The rosewood grips are very good looking and allow for a solid grip on the little gun even with my large hands. I had two FTF with the first mag, after that it has been perfect. The front sight is some what hard to pick up against a dark target. A little red auto touch up paint on the front post fixed that. The only other problem is the grip screws tend to loosen up after a day of shooting, lok-tight should fix that. Accuracy is, well its a little .22 with tiny sights so dont expect much, but you will hit your target, maybe not the 10x but you'll get an 8 or 9 ring. Be sure to pick up some xtra mags, only comes with one and it is a pain to reload (small rounds, tight spring) Factory mags can be picked up for under $20, dont buy the after market mags, stay with the Taurus mags. I highly recommend this little gun and with Bud's price and service, you cant go wrong.

I BOUGHT THIS GUN AND RECEIVED IT LAST WEEK FROM BUDS. HAD A MESS OF HANGUPS AND EVEN WHEN ROUNDS WERE CHAMBERED GUN WOULDN.T FIRE. HAD TO RETRACT ITHE SLIDE MANY TIMES. I DONT WISH TO TEACH MY GRANDKIDS ON THIS POORLY OPERATING HANDGUN. MAYBE IT NEEDS A LONG BREAK IN PERIOD,LIKE ATHOUSAND ROUNDS. IF ANYONE ELSE HAS OR HAD THIS PROBLEM, PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW TO SOLVE IT. THANK YOU...

I BOUGHT THIS PT22 IN JUNE 2009. I HAVE FIRED IT 50 TIMES WITHOUT ONE PROBLEM. I HAVE A SMITH&WESSON MODEL 422 AND I MUST SAY I AM MORE IMPRESSED WITH THIS LITTLE 22 THAN I AM WITH IT.FOR THE COST IT IS UNBEATABLE.
