Is it super inexpensive? Yes. Is it pretty? No. What you get is a snub nose 357 magnum. It's a revolver, so it's obviously reliable. Shoots 38 very well. 357 obviously has quite a bit of recoil, but very manageable for a regular shooter. Some weight to it, but very easy and comfortable to carry and conceal. Overall, amazing gun for the money.

This Taurus 605 feels light and very good in my hand. Like the rubber grips and sights. Has a very smooth trigger pull.

I had a Taurus 605 Nickel plated. I gave it to one of my daughter's because she learned to shoot with it. So I bought another one......for me. Buds prices are incredibly reasonable. Shipping to my FFL was fast. I think I've found a new home!

I have purchased many, many guns from Buds over the last 10 years or so. I only had one problem in all that time and it was resolved to my satisfaction . My Taurus 605 arrived today. The Taurus factory box looks like it was dropped,as the box is crushed on one end. The shipping box was not damaged however, leading me to think that it was not dropped during shipping . Don`t know whats going on with that . On inspection of the revolver ,the cylinder would not revolve , hammer would not cock and the cylinder release would not move . After working on the gun by the FFL dealer and myself we were finally able to get it unstuck. I am hoping to have no further problems. I have owned alot of Taurus revolvers in the past and were always pleased with them. The Taurus 85 is an excellent 38 and the 94 is a very good 22. I have to say I like Rossi revolvers a little better, but looks like they are no longer available for the most part now. The one thing I really liked about Taurus revolvers was the beautiful blueing they had. The new matt black finish looks really bad to me . Makes them look like a cheep gun painted flat black. I wish they would return to blue ,or at least offer blued guns as an option. Wood grip option would also be great. I am sure my 605 will be a good shooter, barring any unforeseen problem. I am happy with this revolver.
