Bought this pretty little thing from buds about 3 weeks ago. Put a few hundred rounds through it, both 38 and 357, and I absolutely love it! The kick with 38 is not even noticeable. Shooting 357 is fun! It let's you know what's going through the barrel! Still manageable tho. Matte finish is nice. Gun arrived really dry. I oiled the heck out of it and left it to sit over night in a towel. Now that the excess is gone, the action is really smooth. Grip is kinda small but the way it's shaped gives you a firm grip. Love it! If you're looking for a wheel gun as ccw or secondary, this is a well made neat little cannon you'll love to shoot!

Before I signed of on this weapon, I had my gun shop give it the once of before I accepted the delivery and it passed far behind what they expected. Once home, i then dry fired it a few times and found it to be very stuff. I called Buds and was told all Taurus are stuff and first and that i should give it a few drops of lube here and there and then a few hot rounds down the tube and it should loosen up just fine. I just picked up a box of 158 Grain 357 Mag and the first choice this snow breaks i will be at the range. Wish me Luck !!! ...dealing with the staff at Buds was nice and easy...

First and foremost, awesome customer service and super fast shipping from Bud's. I could not be more satisfied. On to the gun. This is my first revolver, and it is truly awesome. Very user friendly; easy to operate, easy to clean. VERY light trigger pull when firing single action. Smooth and crisp double action. The grips are comfortable, and it was very accurate out to 25yds. All in all, I'm very pleased with this firearm, especially for the really low price I paid. Would buy again, hands down.

This was my first gun from Bud's. Shipping was fast and Bud's was great. I have since purchased other firearms from Buds. As for the Taurus, the gun initially came with some problems. I'm no gunsmith, so the best way to describe it is to say that the "timing" of the cylinder and the firing pin were off, causing jams (yes, revolvers can jam). I called Taurus, they paid for me to ship the gun to them, they fixed it, and it never gave me any more problems.

Great handgun, I use it for concealed carry. The only issue I find is the shortness of the grip. I replaced the handle with a Hogue grip; it fits much better in my hand and is easier to shoot. Bud’s was terrific and the gun arrived as advertised. You have earned a lifelong customer.

Strangely, this little 2" revolver is the most accurate pistol in my inventory. I bought one for my wife and my brother bought one and ditched his glock for it. The factory trigger is heavy so I always replace the trigger and hammer spring with lighter ones you can get from Midway or Brownells. Has a 3.5 lb trigger now and I have to start picking out the numbers to hit on my target after I shoot the bullseye out first thing - you can literally think your bullets to the target. That's fun when you take it to the range and make guys with semi-autos look stupid. I say "pick a number" which I hit every time. Bullets covering each other exactly is common and I get comments like "you're not hitting the paper after your first shot". They're astonished when I pick numbers and punch them out when I call them. I like to show off and make happy faces also. Plus, 357 is the deadliest round you can shoot anyone with. 357 doesn't jump bad with this surprisingly, and 38 is a ball. Finest pistol you can buy at buds for personal protection bar none. I would have mo problem putting one reound through somones eye at 10 yards.
