Recently purchased this item from Bud's and quickly set off to the boonies with 100 reloads for a trial run. This baby is a tack driver! No trouble hitting bottles and cans from 25 yards. One gallon jugs with water were turned to scrap with this massive round. Recoil was tame thanks to comp. which drastically reduces muzzle climb and directs recoil straight back. Piece is well balanced (5" Bbl.) and not nearly as heavy as the Smith 500 Magnum. Cost of gun and reloading componants is also more reasonable.
