Very Nice Little Rifle, suprised at the quality, own a couple 550's, this rifle is just as well made. In an Industry full of plastic trigger guards and synthetic stocks this little rifle is a breath of fresh air, fit and finish is very well done, bolt is fairly smooth (Not Sako Smooth) trigger is great and mag will take as much abuse as you are willing to put it through. Buds was perfect as always, very pleased with my purchase.

This is my new favorite rifle. It is very handy and lightweight. Fit and finish is top notch. The rifle has good iron sights, which is a nice feature missing from so many other rifles these days. The nice blue finsh and walnut stock make this rifle not only very functional, but aesthetically pleasing. The accuracy is amazing, aided by the great set trigger feature my carbine is shooting cheap steel cased Russian ammo just under 1 moa for a five shot group at one hundred yards. A feat I wasn\'t sure the 7.62x39 cartridge was able to perform until I shot this rifle. The only negative is that I thought it came with scope rings, however mine did not. The rings can be harder to find and a little on the expensive side since the CZ 527 uses a proprietary 16mm design, but that minor complaint is the only negative thing I can think of. I highly recommend this rifle it\'s is cheap to shoot and just plain fun. I can\'t wait to hit the woods with it this fall.

Took my CZ 7.62 Carbine out today, one of the best bolt guns I ever owned.Shot all types of ammo from Tula to more expensive Hornady, feed and shot wonderfully.I would highly recommend this rifle .Will be leaving this for my grandchildren. Not only is this rifle beautiful and well built but accurate from first shot to the last! Thanks Buds for fast shipping and great service.

If you have ever owned a CZ firearm you know that they don't skimp on quality. This one is no exception. Flawless performance and extremely accurate. However, it is also more "European" than some Americans may like. The safety is completely opposite what we on this side of the pond are used to (forward is safe and back is fire) and the set trigger is completely unnecessary with such a good out of the box 3.5 lb trigger. The set trigger lowers the trigger pull to around 1.5 lbs or so making "hair trigger" a completely accurate description. However, you can shoot a TON of cheap steel case ammo and not be out a whole lot of cash, which is the main reason I bought it. Very unique little carbine. I see using this on some of the smaller Whitetail Deer we have in the South or maybe even a little Hog hunting. Mainly will be a fun target rifle. It is a little expensive considering you can get one of the cheaper plastic stocked "economy" hunting rifles for half the price, but totally worth the extra expense to me.
