Received Pistol today, this is from the colt custom shop and is very well put together, nice trigger and slide fit.
Also, the photo shows a smooth front grip strap, it is not. It is nicely machine checkered and the frame is silver ionbond, not nickel.

Unbelievable. I ordered this gun on a monday, and it was at the dealer I had it sent to on wednesday. First, Thank you for the excellent service. Especially considering it is christmas week. Now, for the gun. The fit and finish is second to none on my SCG. Trigger pull is light as a feather. Nothing rattles. Every little bit of it shows the extra time that goes into this weapon. The pictures do not do the finish justice; The bluing is incredibly deep on the slide, and the nickel on the frame is gorgeous. The special packaging this gun comes in is a nice addition: a beautiful blue box with the colt logo in gold. While I won't be able to shoot this until a couple weeks from now, I'm anxious for the moment. Thank you buds!
