Love this backpack rifle !! Asembled the little beauty in a few minutes and put quite few rounds through it. Used CCI Blazer; no FTEs !! Great the way the magazines store in the stock -- feed end up so you can see if there are any rounds in either mag. Looking around for a small scope, with it's own bag. The little Henry is going everywhere with me !!

Cool little gun. Super light, assembles in about 40 seconds. Butt plate is easy to remove if you pull the bottom up and towards you (or if you flip it over pull it down and towards you, which is even easier). Butt stock holds the barrel, receiver, and two 8-rd mags. Receiver has thumb safety, mag release is at front end inside trigger guard, and the bolt has a little pin you can push in/out in order to charge it (it's a little tough to charge with the pin still pushed in). Not too sure what the barrel is made of, not steel though. I'm sure it'll be just fine dealing with 22LR rounds. No problems so far!

A nice little weapon, great to start off kids with. Of course, like all cool kids toys, you will want to play with it too. It has been very reliable for a rimfire. 2 malfunctions out of the first 100rds, and thats with the cheapest ammo I found.

This is a great rifle for what it is. Yes, the Ruger 10/22 takedown is better quality and more reliable. It is also more expensive and comes apart in two pieces. This rifle breaks down and stores in its own stock making it only one piece. This rifle also floats. It's a good survival rifle. I got mine two days ago and have put 100 round thru it. The only issue I had was the way the rounds set in the magazine. Sometimes they nose down when you are loading and you have to poke at them until the front kicks back up. The rifle fired all 100 rounds of Federal bulk 550 value pack copper hollow points without issue. The spent cases looked like the firing pin was hitting them very well and square. For what it is it seems to be a really good rifle, but not like a 10/22 where you are going to be able to put 100,000 rounds thru it. I would recommend buying it, breaking it in and then storing it where you want it like in a car, boat, bug out bag, etc (make sure to check you local laws) Accuracy was ok. As with most weapons accuracy is more up to the shooter than the rifle. This one does have one problem similar to the old style Ruger Mini 14. It you fire too much too fast you will get the barrel hot and accuracy will suffer. Remember it is a survival tool and not a combat weapon like an AR. Very solid buy in my opinion, and will looking at buying at least one more in the future. Buds was perfect as usual.
