felt like forever for them to clear the money from bank but delivery was fast still havent been able to shoot

Going through the breakin process right now, but the more I shoot it, the better I like it. Took it to the range yesterday with some GOOD ammo, very happy with accuracy. Great gun for the money.

I have wanted a 783 since they came out. So happy I purchased this gun. I was debating on a Savage Axis II, A Ruger American, and the Remington 783. I purchased the 783 chambered in .223 Remington. To me and for the money this was the better choice of all 3 I looked into buying. It's built better than the other 2 and the bolt operation is smoother. The accuracy on the 3 guns isn't much different. The new Remington trigger is excellent. I did replace the scope that came with it with a Nikon Buckmasters BDC, that makes a world of difference. So if you are looking into getting a new deer rifle or a varmint rifle then I can honestly recommend the Remington Model 783. Great accuracy, the Remington R3 recoil pad is included and the bolt operation is flawless.

I just picked up this rifle at my ffl dealer, what a great rifle. Great buy and can not wait to take it out to the range sight it in and begin it'd life of coyote hunting. I like the gun but the cheap magazine needs to be replaced with something better built. I was surprised that the scope was better quality than I was expecting. Overall it is a good buy for the price and of course it is a Remington, I don't need to say anything else.
