This will be our last Kel-Tec. I bought it for my wife as she wanted something thinner than her 38. Right off it failed to extract. Left the empty case half in and half out. I called Kel-Tec and they sent me a new extractor and spring. No help, It might shoot one mag, but never two in a row. Most of the time every other one jamed. Sent it to Kel-tec. After 3 weeks I called them and was told it would be another 5 or 6 weeks!!! When I had a problem with on of our Charter Arms, they paid both ways, and just like the owner ( Mitch ) said, 5 days in the shop and we'll get sent right back to you. Too bad for Kel-Tec. We had a couple of p11 6 years ago and they were great, but when you can't get service that ends it for me.

This gun was bad right out of the box. I bought it for my wifes concealed carry course. However, when she came to use it,it was miss fire after miss fire. After examination by the course director it was determined that the firing pin was striking off center. This was evident upon inspection of the miss fired rounds. In any event I sent it back for repair and it has just shown up after 6 weeks. In between I decided not to go cheap and bought her a Glock 19. It's like comparing wine with vinegar.

I'm a bit surprised that there are any bad reviews on this fine weapon. I bought this with the intention of trying it out, and if I thought it was good enough build quality would give it to my Mother to replace her aging Charter Undercover in .38spl. It was, and I did. We took it to the range, fired 50 plus rounds through it and it performed flawlessly. superb weapon, I enjoyed the heck out of it, so did she! Looking for an Armalaser for it and it will be a perfect home defense weapon for her. Five stars for Kel Tec, Five stars for Bud's!

Finally had the chance to hit the range last weekend with my new Kel-Tec. I love it. Kicks like a .45 because it's so light, but that was to be expected. Put 100 rounds through it and only had 1 FTE on about the 3rd shot. Added a little gun oil to the slide and never had another problem.

This is a very nice inexpensive ccw 9mm. I have not had a single ftf or fte with this weapon. I have ran even the cheap tulammo through it without a single hiccup. It is very easy to take down for cleaning (all you need is a 9mm shell to open it up). Also the entire grip/body of the gun is modular and can be replaced for like $50 if you happen to break the plastic. It seems to be a very rugged gun that can take a beating. I would definitely recommend this gun to anyone looking for a good ccw. It may not be the fanciest 9mm ccw out there but it does what it is supposed to at a very reasonable cost.
