Great little gun for concealed carry. I have shot it a few times and I love it!

First purchase from buds super smooth transaction!! ordered 12/22/12 picked it up at my ffl on 12/29/12 incredible considering it was the holiday season!!! Finally got out to the range 1/12/13 ran 75 rounds through the pf9 50 rounds of rws124 grain fmj and 25 rounds hornady 124 grain jhp.The only issue i had with the pf9 was one failure to hold open on the last round it happened on the second clip with the hornady ammo other than that the pf9 ran great. To call the recoil "snappy"is an under statement this little gun kicks like a mule!! it was fairly accurate at 7 yards i was able to get 3-4' groups consistently although the gun does seem to shoot low right(or maybe i shoot low right!!) anyway for less than $300 including ffl transfer fee this seems to be a nice little ccw it fits nicely in the pocket of my jeans or jacket and i sometimes forget it is there. imho kel tec made a affordable reliable little gun that i will carry every day!!!

I had problems with FTE, FTE, and light strikes in the first 200 rounds or so, which I considered the break in period. After that time, the only problem I was experiencing were light strikes. I had kept the firing pin and firing pin channel incredibly clean for this reason, but the problem persisted. In a box of 50 FMJ or defensive rounds I could expect 1-3 light strikes. Not good enough for me in terms of a defensive handgun. As a side note the metal and finish on the slide is awful. Regardless of the protectants I have tried to use on it (Froglube, Ballistol) it continues to rust.

This my 2nd personal Kel - Tec and several friends own various far between all of them.....not a single problem - EVER !!! Those people complaining about jamming and stove piping must be doing something to create those problems , like limp wristing it or not properly cleaning and oiling. I shoot the P-11 with several hundred rounds out through it , - - - FLAWLESS My wife just got the PF-9 and straight from the box , shot 150 rounds ( talk about being like a kid with a new toy ) she can't get enough of it - - - FLAWLESS She likes the way the grips are, they are designed to help the shooter hang on to the gun.........those guys that gripe about them and sand them down so they are not so textured must be wimps and they need to go back to the flower shop and not worry about those of us that can use a weapon the way it is designed to be used

Owned the Gun for a year... Have had numerous stovepipes, FTF or FTE's (no i wasn't "limp wristing"!)... Called Kel-tec and they sent me a new extractor, spring, and screw and the gun still jams. Sent the gun back to Kel-tec for their "fluff-and-buff". Went from about 9% jams down to 3% jams. I will never buy another Kel-tec hand gun again.
