As usual no problems with Bud's. I personally like the feel of the gun right out of the box. I broke gun down and wiped off some heavy machine oil and found the gun ready to shoot. So far no FTE's but only shot about 50 rounds. I am a big guy with big hands and had no problem holding and firing the weapon. I shot almost as well with this little gun as I did my Glock. Only complaint was a little harder to break down and put together again, I am sure I will get better with time. Would recommend for conceal and carry.

RECIEVED THIS GUN FROM BUDS SUPER FAST AS ALWAYS.THE GUN ITSELF IS VERY NICE.I WOULD SUGEST FINDING SOME DIFFERENT GRIPS BECAUSE WITH THE SMALLNESS OF THE GUN IT FEELS AS IF ITS CUTTING YOUR HAND WIDE OPEN.BUT THE GUN SHOT FLAWLESS AS EXPECTED.ITS SUPER ACCURATE AND I MEAN BAD TO THE BONE HIT 9 OUT 10 HEAD SHOTS AT THE RANGE THE FIRST TIME I SHOT IT.I DID FIND THAT YOU MAY WANT TO TRY DIFFERENT AMMO.I FOUND THAT THE CHEAPER THE AMMO THE BETTER IT SHOT.I DID FIND THE HORNADY 124 Grain Jacketed Hollow Point Extreme Terminal SHOT THE BEST BUT YOU WILL WANT TO RUN DIFFERENT TYPES TO SEE WHAT SHOOTS BEST FOR YOU.I WOULD PURCHACE THIS PISTOL AGAIN AND WOULD RECOMEND THIS PISTOL TO ANYBODY THATS WANTING A SMALL CARY PIECE.I WOULD GIVE THE PRODUCT A 5 OUT OF 5 RATING.

Picked this up today at my local FFL, just exactly what I thought it would be "A Mighty Little Gun". The weight is great for carry, even with a full magazine it's barely noticeable. I have ordered the 8 round magazine for it and will keep the 7 round as a spare, even with the extra little finger extension shown in picture it is a little small for a medium sized hand, however I'm sure that with the 8 round extended magazine it will fit just fine. The wife loves it, and I'm sure it will get the job done should she need to use it. The rear sight is adjustable, and they include an allen wrench for that purpose, it also doubles to push in the magazine spring retainer pin so you can install the included finger guide in place of the installed flat bottom on the magazine. I do wish that KelTec would include a second magazine, or opt an 8 round extended mag as a purchase option for a few dollars more, but hey I'm just a consumer what do I know? I would recommend this item for the size and weight if that is a concern, we looked at .380's but wifey wanted just a bit more bang. (don't they always)?

Good little gun for the price. Not the most comfortable. Becuase of the size has a substantial recoil and can be hard on the hands. Does not like cheap ammo so keep with the better stuff. Had several jams when using cheap ammo but no issue when using higher grade ammo.

The gun arrived swiftly and was factory sealed, with one clip (come on Kel-Tec, show your owners some love and throw a 2nd magazine in the 5" x 5" box). As indicated the box is fitting for the micro-sized 9mm PF-9. I've yet to fore but I can already say this is the best fitting pocket-pistol as far as "gun-in-hand" feel I've yet to grip. It blows Ruger's LC9 and LCP to shame. The weight, the design, the sights, the sturdy mag, the grips... it's all really good feeling and a pleasure to look at and carry in the pocket. Now I'm off to find a IWB holster for this carry piece I already love. I'm not an expert when it comes to ammo and various "loads", so I'll have to update when I pick a good run-of-the-mill cartridge and put about 50 rounds through it. My fingers are crossed because I am more than pleased I bought this puppy and if it fires well, I'll be a Kel-Tec fan for life. Not to mention the price point is very reasonable. No Ruger price premium and weighty metal counter-intuitive for the PF-9. Go ahead, purchase the sidearm made famous by a neighborhood watchman in FL.. Ironic it's straight outta Cocoa Beach. I'm debating the cool LaserLyte rig design that goes for about $95. Bottom Line (like in the song except, one for some): Go on an getcha one, getcha one, getcha one.

I recently purchased a PF9 and it's been nothing but junk! I thought it would be a 50/50 gamble on getting one that would work out of the box and I think I overestimated that by about 49%. Here's what I just sent into Kel-Tec. We'll see what happens.... "I have been having a lot of issues with the weapon failing to extract fired casings. I can get no more than 5 rounds in a row and usually 1-2 in a row before another FTE. I have used a variety of factory ball ammo in 115gr, 124gr as well as 147gr JHP ammo. I have fired approximately 400 rounds through it now and the problem is only getting worse. I have an additional Kel-tec magazine I have used and the problem still persists. I have tried the flat magazine plate, extended plate and 1 kel-tec extended plates too. Slowly cycling snap caps have also caused failures to extract. The white dot on the front sight is almost completely worn off now too. Additionally the Kel-Tec 1 factory extensions do not fit properly into the weapon at all. The radius's on the extension are completely different then the gun making it very difficult to seat them."
