Just what I wanted and the sights are dead on with 158gr .357 rounds.I fired about 50 rounds both 38 and the latter and no issues! Great shipping...2 days and I had it!

Purchased Charter 356 mag Pug a few week's ago and as always Buds service was quick and efficient. At the range using 158 Gr. 38 Sp. and 357 125 Gr. the ported barrel does a good job of managing the recoil. The full size grip definitely adds to the accuracy and handling the recoil. First shots were at 10 ft., then moved to 20 ft. and finally 30 ft. It is a great hitter and for the money makes a great gun for the home, fun gun at the range, as well as a potent companion in the woods. Would be hard pressed for the money to find as a good competitor or company to buy from. My FFL dealer has ordered one for himself. Think he likes it as much as I do. Thanks Bud's.

Really like it. Once I cleaned and lubbed it has smooth action and good trigger. Especially single action. Very crisp. Will update once I fire it. Oh and comfortable grip.

Although not the slick, shiny stainless finish of the highest-end handguns, as someone already posted, this is listed as a matte finish. That being said, the finish is flawless. The gun has a good feel to it, handles and fires well. Charter Arm has, in my opinion, come a long way from their early days in the 60's. Worth the money? Absolutely! Very pleased with the weapon, and, as always, with Bud's exceptional service!

Was going to give it 1 star before shooting. The finish was horrendous. There is pitting all over the barrel on this thing. How quality control let it out of the building blows my mind. Its almost embarrassing to takeitout at the range. Should have looked closer befor signing for it. Not a Buds issue, but shame on you Charter Arms. That being said, it handles very well and locks up tight. As for shooting, that\'s what got it the stars it did. Lets just say it leaves a smile eat to ear puting the 357 mags through it. Kicks and barks like crazy. Very fun. Too bad it\'s so ugly. Buds great as usual.
