Very nice pistol for this price range. Nice fit and finish with good frame to slide fit and good looking stainless and black finish.I like the adjustable sites and the Eclipse shoots as good as a Grand Raptor I once had. I am not bragging or exagerating when I say that since 2009 I have had around 30 Kimbers, most of which I liked very much, as I do this one. I do wish that they would up their game a little and lose the mim internal parts. I usually replce them with Wilson parts for better reliability and to be able to achieve a better trigger job that lasts longer. Sometimes I think some models are more flash than quality. Again, only my opinion, and I am still a Kimber fan and will keep this one. I don't mean to try and talk anyone out of this pistol, it is reliable, accurate, good looking and well made.

Very nice pistol. The two-tone finish is magnificent. I was shocked, though, at how easily the carbon steel barrels can rust on the Kimber. I pride myself in really cleaning my firearms, but if you are not spot-on with maintenance on this, you will get some rust discoloration quickly. You need to keep these well-oiled constantly. I would think that this would cause cosmetic issues on an every day carry piece. Other than that, the pistol shoots very accurately, feeds rounds with no jams, and is a pleasure to shoot. Just a little disappointed that for the price, it requires more cosmetic TLC than any other firearm I own.

In short, this is one fine pistol. It felt and performed well right from the box. Not a bad thing to say about it. Works with all type ammo and my reloads, jacketed or lead. Fine trigger pull. Good grouping @ 25 yards.
