Picked up from my ffl an went straight to the range I didn't even wipe it down. I put 200 rounds of 45acp round nose fmj 230gr of my reloads. The gun ran flawlessly all 200 rounds. The fit and finish is beautiful and what you would expect from a high-end gun. The gun shot incredibly accurate, I was able to hit a 3" dot from 15yards consistently. The size and weight of the gun is perfect and is so good to look at. I'm very happy with.

I ordered this then after receiving it I upgraded it with an Ed Brown stainless main spring housing with a flared mag well . I think it is one of the nicest looking 1911's out there! Can't wait to actually shoot it.

I always wanted a Raptor Pro and it is good looking gun in stainless steel. But I wished now that I had purchased it in the dark blue steel. Not sure why I am saving it to shoot, but it is still in box that it came in. But I do take it out some days just to look at it on the wall with my others that I have not shot either.

Pistol is awesome. Have not shot it yet. The fit and finish is outstanding. Replaced the plastic mainspring housing with an Ed Brown.

This pistol is amazingly good! The trigger is extremely nice. It's a comfortable shooter. The build is faultless, and the looks are terrific, and the gun is smooth and tight. However, the sights were very far off, out of the box, such that the gun shot 4" to the right at 10 yards. One could see the miss-alignment by looking at the sights, top-down. Whomever installed the sights could not have actually sighted-in the gun. A few minutes with a pusher tool fixed this foible, and now, all is well.

Well 1st off...I was 1 of the idiots who complained on line about recent delays and challenges at Bud's, the question with my order was resolved quickly and to my satisfaction.
I have always been a Sig Sauer guy, but I've shot my brother in law's Kimber, so Team Bud's offered this Pro Raptor at a price that was amazing. Gun is ergonomic, fits in my hand very well, all controls are smooth and silky. 45 so as a Custom 1911 it is spot on with accuracy (if I aim correctly). I believe that this Kimber Pro Raptor is an absolute steal from Team Bud's. Always working as quickly as they can to fulfill our requests even in dire times like this. AGAIN I AM SO SORRY I COMPLAINED ON LINE BEFORE I UNDERSTOOD JUST HOW DRASTICALLY ORDERS HAVE INCREASED, PLEASE DO YOUR BEST TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR SELVES AS WELL. YOU ARE ...ESSENTIAL.( I am in a stay at home state)....I LOVE BUD'S AND AM GRATEFUL FOR ALL STAFF TOP TO BOTTOM.

This is the best purchase from Bud’s that I have made as a Team BUDs member. The Kimber is “butter” smooth with zero slop. My go to ccw even though it is not the weight of a weapon I would recommend for the ladies. I have a large hand and the 1911 .45 ACP was my carry weapon in the military. This fits, it wears well, it’s accurate as all get out and is my favorite! I only buy from Buds.The customer service and selection of match grade to exotic firearms is UNSURPASSED in today’s market. The fit and finish on this Pro Raptor II is excellent as would be expected from Kimber. The night sights are bright and a must in my opinion. The only issue I had is it came with a Chip McCormick magazine which doesn't even come close to the Kimber Tac Mag. When I spend $1200 for a gun (including transfer fee), I don't think it's too much to ask to receive a magazine made by the gun maker, especially when they sell them on their site. I contacted Kimber and all they said was they contract with other companies on some of their magazines and offered nothing to take care of the issue. I must have missed in their catalogs where they state this for customers to see this prior to purchasing. Had I looked closer at the magazine at the transfer FFL, I might not have accepted it. I knocked off one star for not supplying a Kimber Magazine and 2 stars for the attitude I received from Kimber when I called them. I'll probably never buy another gun from them in the future.

Amazing pistol! This is my second Kimber and I love them both. The attention to detail is fantastic. I had one FTF, but I think I limp wristed it. Trigger is perfect. ZERO creep, feels like a designer watch. Slide glides like its on ball bearings. Feed ramp is polished to perfection. You can pay more for a 1911 but I would hard pressed to find a reason why you should.

A little snappier than my Kimber Raptor Custom (5"), but overall a great shooting and looking firearm. Do note that the pro also does not have the shiny edges like that of the custom. I've only put 100 rounds through her so far, but they have been a flawless 100 rounds, zero hiccups.

My first ever gun purchase on Buds was a S&W 340 and Kimber Stainless Pro Raptor II. I love the Kimber. It's a fabulous pistol, precisely made using high quality materials. The feel and balance of the gun in my hand is the best I've ever experienced (I don't get out much), and I dont get tired of shooting it. I've only managed to put 300 rounds through it so far, no issues. The night sights are great. The accuracy mentioned in many reviews is spot on. I achieved very tight groupings at multiple distances. Although deadly accurate with the gun my girlfriend struggled with the strength of the recoil spring, too stiff for her. When I picked up the gun from my FFL the very helpful young lady handling the transfer recommended a thorough cleaning and lube before taking it to the range for the first time. The rationale was the guns are conditioned for storage and not necessarily in optimal condition for use. I followed her advice.

I have had my Raptor now for several months and can say i am very pleased with its operation. I own several 1911 and 45s and this shoots as well as any of my 5" models. the trigger breaks nice and recoil is minimal. Out of the box it was very acurate.

Just received it today. It is everything I expected. Pick up from my FFL today 5/12/2016, ordered it on 05/03/2016. It is a great investment. Thanks for the great price and the services from Budsgunshop.com. Thanks again.

This is the most I have ever paid for a pistol, however it is now my favorite 1911 of the three I own. Kimber is a quality brand and the fit, finish and design of this pistol is excelent. To top it off it does shoot very well and function is also excelent. I know it is expensive, but I feel like I got my money's worth and am happy with the weapon.

The Kimber Raptor Pro II is an outstanding weapon and it's a functional piece of art. I'm a first time Buds Gun Shop buyer and I have to say I am very pleased. You will not be disappointed if you purchase this handgun. It's a little pricey but to me it's the best looking handgun on the market. Plus it's a tack driver!!!! Best looking weapon in my collection by far. Accurate...very accurate out the box.. 100 flawless rounds. This my primary carry pistol now for sure after the break in period. You get your money worth with this Kimber, Kimber really made a difference in the details of the Raptor edition. I will buy another Kimber. Buds Gun Shop services 5 out of 5...What can you expect is a Kimber Custom Shop pistol.
