The gun was shipped fairly quickly after ordering. It came pretty heavily coated in oil and was inside a plastic bag in the hard case it comes with. The gun itself felt good in my hands, which are pretty average sized, and seemed to be built with as good of quality as you are going to get for ~200 dollars. When i took it to the range however i began having issues with it. I will leave the disclaimer that i did not take it down completely and clean it first, just wiped down the exterior really well. The gun functions just fie in SA, but has light primer strikes every other round or so in DA. The rounds with the light strikes i ejected, then reloaded and set of fine in SA but wouldn\'t if i tried to run them through again in DA. Best i can tell is the hammer isn\'t coming back far enough in DA before the trigger breaks and releases it. Or maybe i am not coming off of the trigger far enough (i am not too accustomed to revolvers). I recently took of the side panel and gave it a good cleaning. Ill take it out once again and see if i can figure out if this is truly a gun or a shooter issue. I may or may not send it back to the factory if the issue persists. I bought this for the purpose of doing a \"Dollar Gun\" series on my YT channel so im not too attached to it, but it would be nice to put in an extra bug out bag if i can get it running better.

I had this gun on layaway for over 2 months, but that was because I put 2(two) more guns on the same layaway on one order. The last gun(Bersa .380) took a while to ship, but the 3 guns incl this one went right out, FFL had in few days---GREAT JOB BUDS!! I was looking for an inexpensive .38 revolver, old-school style similiar to my new S W Mod 10, Modern\"classic \" series just too beutiful to bring myself to shoot. Since BUDS didn`t have any Police Mod 10 revolver trade-ins, and I ONLY buy my guns(other than pvt sales and trades) from BUDS, I looked for something else, just for recreational plinking ans target shooting, something like the S W or Colt Cobra/lawman/trooper series, but less expensive. I bought this for $246, about $8 more than what its going for now(Not going to bother NORTON for _10$), and the gun is a STEAL even if it cost $300 ! LOVE, LOVE LOVE this revolver. Thank goodness I read all the positive reviews from BUDS customers like myself, and didn`t let the low price scare me away(you generally get what you PAY for). Gun came gobbed in oil(rust protective lube) and i gave it a good cleaning. Immediately i noticed how cool this gun looks, just like an older Colt Trooper .357 mag I owned, but with shorter(4\" ) barrel and in.38 spec. Great black\"Anadized--sic) finish and the rubber grips feel and fit great. Even before shooting it, dble-action trigger was smooth and crisp, andyou can \"feel\" where it`ll break enabling you to \"stage\'\" your dble action shots. Single action is just fantastic for a gun of this price point, factory new withi NO refinements or work. Shooting it proved even better! Excels in ALL areas: fit, function, accuracy and and PRICE! Gun gobbled up a variety of loads(no P`s), 435 total, without a single hiccup. Everything from cheap reload wadcutters to Buf Bore stnd pressure Loads, this gun handles with applomb. its got that \"old-school\" look that I just love, and feels good in my hand. Recoil is very mild with all loads(at least for me anyway), fixed sights were pretty much on at distances from 15 feet to 65 yards. This little gem impressed the heck out of me(can you tell I like it?), and I highly reccommend it. It always pays for me to read the BUDS reviews but this one REALLY paid off for me. BUDS was/is superb in every way, and I can`t say enough good things about them. This was my 9th or 10th gun purchased from BUDS since end of this past january, and i`ve bought 2 more since getting this one(not to mention another on layaway) as well as my ammo , holsters and gear. Always a pleasure dealing with BUDS, and this revolver, especially under $240 is a WINNER! Don`t hesitate if your on the fence, BUY IT!! NO disappointments here!

This revolver is a good buy. Received my M200 in a few days and Buds was great walking me through the process. It's not the fancy fit and finish but it works great! And for under 240.00 I can't complain at all. I have shot 150 rounds threw it so far with no problems at all and the accuracy is spot on. The M200 came shipped in a lot of oil and it took a bit to clean it up before I went to the range but other than that I'd say this is been a great buy!!!! Thank you Buds, look forward to my next purchase.

I have not been able to shoot my new 38 yet but it seems to be as well made as my old Taurus 38 and it has a longer barrel that I wanted, quality seems excellent for a firearm like this at this price.

For the money it's a pretty decent revolver. Good weight, feels ok in your hand, it even comes with a little carry case. My one complaint, and it could be just me the guys at the factory wanted to play a goof on, but the entire gun was literally soaked in grease. It came in a plastic bag, the bag had visible excess pooling at the bottom. It's like they finished the gun, tested it, and said, " welp now completely submerge it in grease, yes of course the handle too, and it's good to go." Otherwise alright.
