First a review of my purchase from Buds. Simply put it could not have gone smoother. Purchase, shipping, and communication were all first rate. Buds actually emailed me minutes before the FFL dealer called me. As for the revolver itself. For a gun of this low cost it is a decent pistol over all. It shoots well and when used with ammunition it likes is very reliable. It doesn\'t care for Lellier and Bellot .357 magnum at all. This could very well be the ammo though. It shoots Winchester, American Eagle, and Remington just fine. Both .357 Magnum and .38 Special. Lellier and Bellot shoots but the empty cases slip back in the chamber causing the cylinder to hang up. At first I thought it was a problem with the gun, but with the other ammo I have no problem. The grip does loosen up. Not a lot but still it is annoying with a new (although bargain priced) hand gun. If I can\'t come up with a solution I will make use of the warranty. Point of interest, HKS model 10 A speed loaders work just fine with this hand gun.

I was looking for a low cost .357 to be a project gun and this fit the bill. This revolver is a little rough but about what you would expect for the price. The tigger is narrow for my tastes and has sharp edges but the pull is smooth. The grip is a big weakness for this pistol, my was a little wobbly so I tried to tighten the screw and with very little effort the screw went clear through the soft rubber and the grip simply slipped off with the screw still attached to the frame. I\'m sure I could have sent it back to EAA for repair but that\'s a pain and best case they put a new crappy grip on it. The replacement wood grips are out of stock everywhere I could find listings (I wonder why...) and I couldn\'t find any others that would fit so I ended up drilling out the hole in the factory grips and embedding a nylon spacer in them the secure the screw (problem solved, but the grips still feel kind of cheap). I wouldn\'t recommend this pistol but it\'s not junk either. The finish is a very glossy blue so it looks nice but fingerprints will make smudges super easy.

good $$ value for a 357/38 and accurate at 7 yds. had to return the first one, scratches on top of barrel/frame second one was worse, bluing blemishes on left side of barrel. kept it, as the nickel finish was o/s will take it to my gunsmith to see what he can do. I went on line to find that the Finish quality is an issue with the EEA Windecaters.

Well, for $316 I should have known better. If I sight down the frame to the barrel I can obviously tell that the barrel is skewed to the right. Very disappointing. Be smart, save your money and pass on this one.
