I wanted the nickel plated, but Buds was out of both styles. Every other site I went to were out of stock also. This must be a very popular revolver. I got on Bud's notification list, and really didn't think I would ever me notified. Talk about surprised when within a week I got an e-mail saying the Blue was available. I promtly ordered it. 3 days later I was told the nickel plated came in. Oh well.... since the revolver is going to mainly be my back up when in the woods, the Blue is just fine. Ordering the revolver was painless. Bud even gives you FFL's in your area to have it sent to. They notify you when it is sent out, and give you a tracking # so you can watch its journey. Less than a week I got a call from the FFL telling me the the revolver arrived. I pick up the .357, a box of .38sp, and a box of .357 mag, ran a bore snake thru it and headed for the indoor range to try it out. It is a bit hard to line up the sights as both the front and rear sights are black, but I figure a dab of yellow and orange neon paint will correct that problem. Was only able to get a few rounds shot off before closing and only the .38sp. The revolver has a very nice, and comfortable hand grip. I used a shoot stick to help steady myself. At 5 and 10yds I was putting my shots in a 4x4 area. Recoil was not bad at all. I think the design of the handle postion to the frame, and the handle itself helps absorb recoil. Plus being the 4" model, the heavy front helps too. So far I am very pleased with my purchase. (German's make fine quality firearms) Bud's has a wide selection of firearms, the best prices on the guns I've checked out, painless ordering, and prompt delivery. I have rifle on order, and will get it in a couple days. Bud's the place to do get your weapons. Thank you Bud's Gun Shop.

Another good guy for the price. Anyone looking to add another gun to their collection would be happy. This is a HEAVY revolver, keep that in mind. Concealed carry probably won%u2019t be a good idea for the majority of people because of this guns weight and length. Personally I really like the look of this revolver, .357%u2019s are mean rounds and I honk the gun captures that in looks and feel. I bought the 4%u201D version since I knew I wouldn%u2019t be carrying this honestly ever. Double action is also HEAVY, might be one of the heaviest double actions I%u2019ve tried, but it%u2019s good to know that I think the single action in this revolver is pretty good (especially for the price). Fit and finish seem fine, I had no defects and the mechanics of it are working well even after a few hundred rounds. Fixed sights can be hard to see but a little paint changed that for the better. Even though it seems I mentioned a lot of negatives so far keep in mind this is a 300$ .357! To sum this review up: Good gun, shoots well, looks great in my opinion, nice addition to a collection for only around 300$

This is my second one of these and it seems they updated the handle which on my first one was better suited for smaller hands. The new handle feels great and this revolver is a great buy at the price! I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

Very happy with purchase. I took it straight to the range after an initial cleaning. Loaded with .38 spc, it was like shooting very light 9mm. Once I put the Underwood 125gr in there, it was another story! It recoiled twice as much but controllable. Firearm is now my night stand gun with the 1600fps, 794ft lbs Underwoods!

II took my .357 Windicator to the range today for the first time. I fired 200 rounds through it (.38 Special, .38 Special wadcutters, and .357 n Magnums. All the rounds were fired at a variety of ranges. The results we were good. The groups were tight at center mass. I am very happy with the Windicator.
