I picked up my Mosin-Nagant today and it looks really good. It is a 1939 with all serial numbers matching. There are a few scratches on the stock, but hell, it's a 76 year old gun. Bolt is really smooth and trigger seems pretty good. Can't wait to get it to the range. Overall a great purchase from Bud's.

Not so excellent condition. While the barrel has no rust, has matching serial numbers and re-crowned, the stock was scraped and corroded at all the metal fittings. Unfortunately, I will be rebuilding this 1942 Izhevsk round receiver Mosin Nagant into an Archangel stock. Also, the sling and bullet pouch were not included.

I received my M91/30 about a week ago, this is my third M91/30 I have ordered from Buds. This one has a 1943 rough receiver and barrel on a war time stock, all parts are forced matched the bore is in good condition with no counter bore. The barrel exterior has surface pitting that was painted over at the arsenal. The stock was arsenal refinished with no refurb mark, the stock appears to be in good condition except the hand guard is worn and loose. As a wall hanger I would rate this M91/30 as good condition, as a rifle for target shooting I would rate this one as poor condition. The barrel and receiver are loose & wobbly in the stock, trigger guard and receiver don't fit together in the stock at all, very loose. Hand guard is badly worn out and has bad fitting mismatched barrel bands. All screws are tight but everything is loose. My first two Mosins were excellent as described. This one is a complete disappointment. The cleaning kit came rolled up in a fedex bag that looked liked someone pulled it from the trash, it was so bad it made me laugh. Good luck!

Thanks Buds for the great service and low price. My Mosin was counter bored, with all serial numbers matching. The rifle is 1942 and is not necessary the best Mosin I have seen, but it is what it is for a surplus rifle. Shoots a little high, as these due, but I was able to hit a 15" plate at 200 years standing with no stand consistently, which is better than I expected. The trigger and the guard do rub on each other which has made the trigger very stiff. I am working on fixing that part. Definitely a great purchase and good rifle for the what you should expected of a fellow drunk Russian machinist during WWII. Now, the accessories that come with this rifle were not shipped with the rifle to my local gun shop. I gave Buds a call after picking up the rifle, they apologized about the inconvenience and shipped the accessories to my home address the next business, via USPS second day shipping. Highly recommended for their low price, produce availability, and great service!

I just received both of my Nagants. The first is a 42 round, all matching serial numbers. A very little amount of dried cosmoline. no real apparent rust. The second is a 43 round with all matching numbers accept the bolt. The 43 has a little rust around sites, bolt and outer barrel. Both rifles have no counter bore. Both come with bayonet, oil cans, barrel cap for the cleaning rod, so not to harm the crown. The first rifle would seem to be good, while the second is fair/good. Both stocks are arsenal refinished, no scratches and little wear/dents. Both bores are shiny and have not been counter bored. Both rifles are imported from PW. Both rifle stocks have cut outs for sling with no metal inserts of any kind. I am glad that I own them but will retire a couple of my others and service these, due to better condition of my other Century imports. I realize that rifles made during these two years of the war tell a story of survival and would reflect craftsmanship. Even for the years they were made, rust and non matching only equal good.

Very pleased with the rifle. Very excellent condition and fast shipping. Never guess it is 73 years old. Beautiful stock and very clean and rifled bore. thought I only bought a rifle but it came with a bayonet, oil can and tools. Will definitely buy from Buds again!!!!!
