I've been wanting a Mosin for a long time. With the recent flood of accessories on the market I wanted to build a nice long distance shooter that fired affordable ammo. I've seen several local pawn shops and gun stores carrying loads of Type 53's, M44's and 91/30's. Most of them looked like they were used for shovels, tent poles and baseball bats and being sold for over $200. I just wanted a 91/30 with a shiny bore and good action. The stock would be disposable. So I took a shot and ordered the VG condition model. In the mean time I picked up a sniper bolt, Archangel stock, scope, mount and bipod all for twice as much as I paid for the rifle. When I got the rifle it was covered in cosmo of course but beneath the grease was the most beautiful 91/30 I have ever seen. It was well taken care of with zero rust and minimal dings on the stock. This is in such good condition that it seems almost a sacraliege to drill and tap holes for the scope mount or to cut the barrel bands to mount the new stock. This is the first time in my life I have asked for near junk and got near pristine. Even luckier for me the guy at the Century arms warehouse momentarily forgot how to count and put two of all of the accessories in my box. Two slings, oil bottles etc. Awesome! I could not be happier. Thank you Buds. Customer for life!

I ordered 2 of these from and after cleaning them up they were much nicer than I thought they would be! I am very happy, no rust, bright bore, nice crown both were 1942 izzy's and they were delivered in 3 days. Can't beat the deal or the great service from Buds! After seeing these I am definately ordering a few more before they are gone!

I just picked up my Mosin-Nagant M91/30 a few hrs ago. I spent about 2 hrs doing the initial wiping down to remove the oily substance they use to keep the gun from rusting while in storage. I am very impressed with the condition its in. Very light scratched in the stock and I do mean light scratches. All the serial numbers match. My rifle was made in 1943 and for its age, I would give it a 9.5 out of 10. AN awesome rifle for the price. You cant go wrong with this rifle. Thanks Buds you did a great job on describing the item and another great job having it to me in 3 days.. Thanks

Maybe I just got lucky, but this was the best condition M-N I have seen anywhere. Perfect steel! Put a ATI stock on it and a cheap scout scope. Looks like a brand new gun. For $300 I have a gun that out shoots my pre 64 Winchester Model 70 30-06.

This is the second M-N I purchased from Buds. Along with this purchased I bought an ATI stock and AIM scout scope kit to modernize the weapon. Happy with all, A Very affordable way to get an accurate large caliber gun in the arsenal.

Bought this as a fugly build just to have fun with some cheap ammo. The only problem is this gun was immaculate and looked as though it had never been shot. I am now doing a scout rifle build instead of cutting it up. I will buy a pc of junk from a local store for the fugly build.
