I was disappointed in this shotgun upon getting it home and doing my usual cleaning. When cleaning the inside of the barrels I discovered heavy rust and it has taken 3 cleanings so far to get the patches somewhat unrusty colored . There was also rust found in several almost hidden locations in the lockwork and barrel assembly. This was not easily visible at the FFL dealer as he did not notice it either. Stoeger did not take care in storage of this firearm and I have to conclude that other firearms of theirs might be in the same unlubricated condition. If you are thinking of purchasing Stoeger keep this in mind. It is also very hard to open. I truly mean very hard. Someone without strong thumb and arm strength would not be able to pen my gun.

I received my well packaged Stoeger coach gun in 20 gauge from Bud\'s three days after submitting my order. The barrels are adequately blued, the action is tight but the finish could be better. The triggers, especially the front. is extremely heavy and the point of impact could be better. The fore end appears to have been checkered prior to sanding and is a bit loose. My biggest disappointment is in the very poor wood to medal fit of the stock. I do find it adequate for home defense as it functions dependably with little possibility of premature or accidental firing from its heavy triggers. It\'s a shotgun one can leave in the pick-up for defense or pest control and not be concerned about scars or scratches. In summary, a cheap dependable working coach type shotgun you won\'t mind leaving in the truck or on the ATV. For the range, field, or CAS event I\'d suggest squeezing the piggy bank a little more or wait until the budget can afford a better quality shotgun.

Great little gun, good quality, tight action, nice triggers, a blast to shoot.

I had trouble getting the ffl info into my order and ended up having to call buds, the c.s. rep. helped me out and fixed the problem within a couple minutes, this is the second gun I've purchased from buds, they do a great job and I feel very confident buying from them, also I shop around and the prices are very competitive, as far as the Stoeger 20ga coach gun goes; it's perfect for me, I plan on grouse hunting with it, the break is stiff, but that's fine, I believe it will break in and be quite serviceable, fit and finish is great for the price in my opinion. thanks :)
