I've read that some have Decent Finishes and some Bad I believe I got a good Parkerized Finish, Magwell is very Tight with Tapco/New Produced Steel Mags, No Canted Sights It's the Whole Package for Sure. I've only experienced one Difficulty and I believe its on My Part but I cant seem to open and close the stock with ease, If anyone can help me out I'd really appreciate a small descriptive guide to opening and closing it with some relative speed.

Best AK deal out there at present. CONS: As others have stated the finish leaves a bit to be desired. Flat black spray paint and scratched surplus grips. Also some sharp edges on the mag well where it was milled to fit double-stacked mags (easy to rectify with a light filing). HOWEVER..PROS: The chrome lined barrel and gas piston were gleaming. The action and fit both seemed very tight for what I'd heard of "loose tolerance" AK's. The Tapco mags fit tight with little side-to-side wobble and zero front-to-back. Mine arrived complete cleaning kit and rod. After filling forms I broke it down and checked it before accepting the FFL transfer. Best I could tell the rear sight block was close to perfect- at least no cant was evident to my novice eye. The gas block was in alignment with the sights. The dust cover matched and fit well. The gas tube release is stiff, but in a good way. Trigger felt good to me. Out Of Box experience:is 5 outta 5 = exceeded my expectations. Still need to get some range time in with my first AK variant before posting a full review on the function.

Amazing low price for this gun. The finish of the gun I received was very good to excellent. Grips are cheap plastic but what do you expect for the price and they can be replaced if they really bother you. Very well made and all numbers matched. Fires flawlessly and has a surprisingly light recoil. Tried all different types of magazines and ammo and it fed perfectly. Nice and compact AK variant. Buds was great as usual. If I had an unlimited supply of cash, I'd buy 10 of these to toss to my good friends in the event SHTF. GET ONE WHILE YOU CAN!

This is an amazing gun for the price. The AMD-65 has a poor paint job, but this is to be expected. It is very easy to repaint these rifles and the price is unbelievable. Don't hesitate to purchase this gun. You can purchase parts for this gun from a ton of suppliers.

Gun came arrived 3 days after I ordered it, excellent condition, pretty clean. Functions great. Folding stock is very sturdy, don't be fooled by the looks. Original surplus handles kind of crappy, but replaced rear handle with a hogue ak grip, looks and feels awesome but did have to dremmel a little off the back of the grip to make room for the stock button release. Replaced the front grip and hand guard with a utg quad rail and new front vertical grip, and added a red dot. Looks and functions AWESOME. Adding the utg rail and vertical grip also added a little space so that 30 and 40 round mags load without having to bump them against the original surplus front grip. Considering buying another, $450 bucks is a STEAL for this AK. Buy one while you still can. Buds gets an A . Romney/Ryan 2012!!!

I was some what caution about ordering the gun, but after receiving the gun today it has been a blast. Me and my 16 year old son went out back of our property and had the time of our life. Went to Walmart and purchased some 7.62x39mm, yea Walmart had it, in the Toulo brand of ammo. and it shot through the gun smooth as silk. We shot a full 20 rd. clip through it, using the mag. that came with it, and it shot perfectly. If you are looking for a starter AK 47 this would be a great starter gun. Don't expect a polished AR looking gun because that's not what it's about. This is a gun that you can take out shoot the heck out of some targets drop it, drag it thru the mud, drop kick it in the lake swim to the other side and shoot til you can shoot no more! Bottom line good gun for the money and get it while we can still buy guns like this one.
