This will be the fifth used police gun I've gotten from Buds and the third revolver. These S&W model 10 gun are in good mechanical condition, however the finish on the last two were less then I hope for. They are a fair value considering the finish condition, but good shooters.

Great buy, yes it shows wear on the finish and the grips are a little banged up, but this revolver was still nice and tight and shoots great. I'm ordering a second one now.

Gun came in S&W box with manual, gun lock, and other paper work that comes with the gun when new. The slide had a slight amount of corrosion that came off easily with some steel wool. Gun is 95% new. Magazines are well used but fully functional. Gun was very clean when it arrived. Night sights are dead. Manufacturing date is 2008 the sixtieth day of the year. I would recommend.

Excellent service dealing with Buds are expected, item was as described, although bluing was more 60-80% then mentioned, but I expected this being a well used holstered police firearm, am more then happy with this classic and will be using Buds again!!

Received a model 10-8 which seemed a little tired cosmetically. It had a lot of bluing wear and scratching showing rough use although not really abused. A 10-8 is also at least 27 years old so it's bound to show wear. Mechanically the gun seems fine with clean rifling and tight, smooth action. With a good cleaning and some replacement grips installed it has a lot of life left in it. Overall I believe these Model 10's represent a good value.

When I ordered my Model 10 this week I had low expectations and I anticipated a beat-up fixer upper needing new grips and re-bluing. It needs new grips, but other than expected holster wear this revolver is a great example of an old law man's gun that has years of enjoyment left in it. Grips are ordered, but I will get it re-blued in 5-10 years. My FFL inspected this upon arrival and was pleased with the condition. I have never ordered a firearm online but I am thrilled with my Smith. Thanks Buds!!!!!
