Very well built 1911. Super accurate as you would expect; first three rounds all touching at 15 yards on the Bullseye. Fit and finish are excellent. The most out of the box accurate 1911 I have ever owned (and I have probably had 20 or so, including Wilson's). The close tolerances on this pistol are really noticeable upon tear down. Had to use a plastic lever to pry the barrel bushing out of the slide (you can also use the barrel to bump it loose). The black front sight is not optimal for older eyes, and USPSA style of shooting, I will be changing that to a fiber optic. Have used Bud's repeatedly and they are always awesome. I did a trade for this pistol, and the experience was great, Bud's offered a good price for the trade and the process was simple.

Great, awesome, fantastic, and a very very nice 1911. I am very happy with my new Les Baer Concept III. I took it to the range and felt like I was Jerry Miculek, I'm not the best when it comes to shooting pistols and need to work on my grip and technique. Even with my short comings, I was getting 2" to 3" groupings on a 4" steel plate at 25 yards consistently. My Son has next to no experience with pistols, also did very well. We fired 300 rounds with no problems what so ever out of the box. I was not planing on spending this much for a 1911, but am very happy I did. You get what you pay for....

Outstanding pistol, tight tolerances and took the first 300 rounds without fail creating 2" groups at 25yds. If you buy a Les Baer pay attention to the recommendation about leaving the factory lube in through the break in period as the tolerances are extremely tight and it really only started to break in around 225 rounds. It feels like 500 rounds will be required to fully break in but what better way to enjoy the pistol? The sights were dead on as advertised. The machining and fit is better than any mass produced 1911 by a long shot. It is true that you get what you pay for! Bud's makes the whole FFL process easy and Lakeside Guns in Acworth, GA completed the transfer perfectly. Great gun at a great price with great service.
