Purchased this pistol as an anniversary gift for the wife. Buds has made dramatic improvements in length of time to the ffl from over 20 days on the first order to a couple days on this order. So very happy with buds. Now for the pistol. First trip to the range using bulk Winchester 230 fmj. The wife fired between 100 and 200 rounds with multiple (4) failure to feeds. The pistol didn't have a problem ejecting just had a problem with the slide moving all the way forward when loading next round was easily fixed by pressing on the back of the slide but still $1500 dollars for a pistol that is not that reliable. I will be contacting kimber to see if there is anything they can recommend or if this is a known problem. Shop smart pistol would be rated a 10 if it would feed properly. But as is a 4 because of dependability. Hopefully this is a one off issue.

I have wanted a Kimber for a long time and am I glad I finally stepped up. What a nice nice firearm. I've been very pleased with the quality.

puchased this gun from Buds and picked it up two days ago - good service and fast shipment. I put 100 rounds of 230gr FMJ with no FTL, FTF, or FTE.. Fun to shoot and super accurate - dime size accuracy at 50 feet. I also have a Colt Special Agent with a 3" barrel, but this gun shoots much smoother and more accurate than the Colt. The custom shop extras are well worth the money. Repeat Buds customer, very happy.
