I just recently purchased this Core 15 MOE M4 from Bud's. When I went to my dealer to pick up the rifle I was very disappointed that the barrel had the 1/9" twist instead of the 1/7" twist. I still took delivery of the rifle thinking the barrel was chrome lined.(according to Bud's description). Bud's description does not mention the rifle twist though it does state chrome lined as of this date. I called the manufacturer today. and was told that the 1/9" twist barrels are NOT chrome lined. This definitely bothered me. I was also told that GTO (Core 15) management had decided not accept any rifles that were purchased from Bud's that has the 1/9" twist instead of the 1/7" twist. So, if you purchase this rifle make sure it has the 1/7" twist chrome lined barrel before taking delivery. Otherwise, the rifle is of excellent quality and is highly recommended!

Although I havent gone to the range yet nor put any rounds threw it, I am very happy with this rifle. I spent alot of time reading reviews on it and am glad i made the choice i did. I felt the need to right this review because out of all the research i did, I found that no one has been able to tell what barrel twist they will receive. I received the1:7 twist which really pleased me. I also read that some people had received commercial buffer tube but that was not the case with mine (MIL-Spec). There were alot of open ended questions i had while purchasing this gun but i am glad i went with it because it seems that the craftsmanship and quality is very good and eveything is well fitted on this rifle. I hope i could help anyone out there who had the same questions as i did. Now is going to be the real test when I bring it to the range this weekend.

Best AR for the money. Surpasses other major manufacturers. Shoots great right out of the box. I highly recommend this company and rifle.

2nd gun from buds, couldent be any happier. Buds service is 5 stars. Will buy from again. Now the core 15 rifle, it's great. Shoots anything you feed it. Steel or brass. Shoot 200 rounds with no problems. Worth every penny. Your getting more than what you pay. Thank you buds

Well, I got it and wow, awesome weapon! But wait... I got it home and started to take it apart and clean it and... what's this, the barrel says it's a 1:9 twist not the 1:7 it's supposed to be. By this time it's Friday afternoon so I send a quick e-mail to Core. Evening comes and goes, then Saturday, then Sunday, and finally Monday morning 8am, I call them. They give me their UPS account number and by 10am it's back at UP going to Florida. They say 48hr turn around but it'll be at least a week and a half, maybe two more until it's back. Hopefully at some point in the near future I'll be posting a positive report on how it functions, fires and it's accuracy. It did come with a full size plastic rifle case and a nice loop cable lock... Sorry but for all the issues I'm just not rating this a good transaction. Not horrible because it does look like it will be a good rifle.

What an amazing AR. I bought the BUSHMASTER carbon 15 and it arrived at my ftp with the lower receiver busted at the front take down pin. I was disappointed but Bud's did a great job of exchanging the gun for this Core 15. I have put 250 rounds through it with not one issue. This is my first AR and I am extremely happy with everything about. Bud's gets a big thumbs up for their service as usual.

Great buy at BUDS!!! Got notified the core 15 moe was available and did my purchase right away. Estimated shipping was awesome, got it in 7 days!!! Inspected firearm before transfer and everthing was there like in the photo shown. Just couple of days the core 15 moe was available at the website now out of stock. Everything goes fast. I have a freat ffl dealer too!!!..got my paperworks done in less than 20 min. I dont care what negative things i heard about BUDS but you guys are AWESOME!!! Keep up the good work
