This was my first transaction with Buds and I have to say that I am pleased. The gun came quickly to my FFL. I had read other's reviews regarding barrel length and not getting what they expected. More often than not this was expecting the 3.6" shown in early pictures (Bud's has since updated) and receiving the 4.5". I had the reverse. I wanted the 4.5" and received the 3.6". I did some research and apparently the issue is not Bud's issue. EAA has the sae SKU for both barrel lengths. Many people are having the same issue with other vendors due to this odd aspect of EAA's business practices. I called Bud's to inquire about a return and apparently they do not open the boxes prior to shipping to maintain the integrity of the shipment and since the SKU is the same, an inspection might not help anyway as it would match my order. I decided to keep the gun as I would risk the same thing happening again on a retun shipment. I also like the gun and can order a full size slide for 9mm and other calibers later on for ~$200. Onto the gun itself. Like a new baby fresh from the womb, it is swimming in goo and needs a quick cleaning. Breakdwon is a breeze, so this is not a big deal and you can have it ready for business in a short amount of time. It feels great in the hand and the action is nice. I have not yet had a chance to take it to the range, but cannot wait to deflower it. For the price, I would say it is a no brainer, especially when you consider the versatility of different barrels and calibers.

I work for a local LE Agency/Commission in WV. I have used many guns and shot more than a few makes/models.....so I can objectively say w/o prejudice that this is an excellent value and great self defense pistol. I have shot Glocks and HK's that are nowhere near this ergonomic feeling in the hand. The grip has an excellent feel.I currently own a Springfield XD 45 which feels better than any Glock or M&P but honestly the EAA feels better than the XD as well as it feeling better than a XD 9mm. SA trigger pull is crisp and light. DA however is much heavier but still breaks clean. I think an ambi safety would be nice but you can order and install it yourself. After 150+rds or so...no FTF's or DblFeeds etc...very nice groups but here's the catch. It shoots low and EAA will not be as user friendly as Springfield or another company. Ive called them and their customer service sucks!!!! They are not going to pay for shipping or the part period!!! I know it is not me....as I tried different aiming and side to side was spot on. Low about 2" at 12yds. or so. Now that being said....Ill just save for an adjustable rear sight and chalk it up as a build because the rest of the performance of the gun is great. I just think they need to work on their CS because customers are everything for a business. Buds was great!!!!!! Buds shipped it quick and was spot on!!! If Buds owned EAA they'd probably take care of my sight problem lol.

SUPER DEAL.THIS IS A GREAT GUN OUT OF THE GREEN BOX I SHOT IT BETTER THAN ANYTHING I HAVE SHOT BEFORE.ERGONMIC GRIP LOW BORE LIGHT RECOIL A REAL PLEASURE TO OWN, AS FOR THE COCK & LOCK, U DONT HAVE TO DO THAT,JUST PUT ONE IN THE CHAMBER AND LOWER THE TRIGGER LIGHTLY WITH THUMB CONTROL, ADD ANOTHER ROUND TO THE MAG16+1, AND SET THE SAFTEY. THATS WHY ITS A DA/SA.YES THE DA IS HEAVY THATS SO U DONT SHOOT SOMEONE BY ACCIDENT. AND THE SA IS FEATHER LIGHT ,THATS SO YOU CAN FIRE MULTIPLE ROUNDS QUICKLY.THE ONLY PROBLEM IS FINDING THE MAGAZINES.THE STAFF AT EAA IS LAME.FOR $300 U ARE GETTING A TRUE KEEPER.I LOVE BUDS BUT I WISH THEY WOULD USE FED X CAUSE UPS IS RUN BY MORONS WHO KEEP TRYING TO DELIVER PACKAGES BEFORE 9 AM TO AN OFFICE THAT OPENS AT 9 AM

Bought this gun last month. Buds shipped really fast. My Ffl had it 7 days after purchase, and I paid with a money order. It only comes with one magazine, but they are readily available. Easy takedown. Oiled and took to range. Put 150 rounds through it and there were no ftfs or ftes. Accuracy out the box was exceptional. For $297 bucks shipped, this is a great deal.

ABSOLUTELY the best value for a hi-cap 9MM! Feels like a single stack, is a tack driver, feeds anything you can put through it, and for a polymer gun it is solid with the wall thickness twice that of similar guns. I have a CZ SP01 that I tuned with tons of aftermarket parts and the EAA is equal in reliability and accuracy. Excellent home defense pistol, you will not be sorry if you purchase this pistol.

Ordered on line for pickup at the Lexington store. Entire exchange went flawlessly with clear communication. Thanks to reading the reviews and the description first, I knew the 4.5" barrel did not match the picture, and I got exactly what I wanted. I have had this to the range twice, and it has functioned flawlessly and shoots great! It outshoots my Sig and a couple others and edges my Springfield Armory Omega .45. (Browning Buckmark is still the King!) Puts bargain Aquilla and other ball ammo right where the sights aim, as well as some +P hollowpoints. Examined ejected brass and the primer was fully dented right at the center. Noted the slightly sharp trigger edges. My office-work-soft hands were okay with it. My shooting partner today found the edges to be sharp, but still said it was the best shooter of the day. Pretty good single action and smoooooth double action. They have one on the wall at the Lexington store for $305.00 and it is a GREAT bargain! Now if only Buds had magazines to fit it......
