Have not had a chance to take to the range, but this firearm feels great in my hands. The double action is long as it should be, but the single action is crisp and sweet. Buds was great, even with the influx of business, it was at my FFL in about a week.

This gun has excellent fit an finish and is very accurate for a semi-auto. I have owned a Sig-Pro (9mm), a Glock 17C, and a Springfield Mil-Spec Operator, and this gun is the most accurate out of the four (with the Glock being the second most accurate). In my opinion, you get a gun as good (in it's own ways) as a Glock without the $500+ price tag. Plus, this gun is easily converted from .22lr to .45. While the upgrade kits are a little pricey, they're cheaper than another gun. The only 'issue' I have is inherent to the design (and accuracy) of the gun. Since the slide sits down so far in the frame rails, it doesn't give you much purchase on the knurls for the slide to chamber a round. I'd rather have accuracy over this, though. Overall - I give this gun a 5.

I echo many of the previous reviewers sentiments about the value of this weapon for the money, the fit finish and feel are good. The gun does shoot low (and to the right, but that could be me). Unfortunately, my gun came with a manufacturer's defect. The slide would rack forward if a loaded mag was inserted and slapped home (even a gentle tap would cause this to happen). Good feature for LE/Military, but not so comforting at the range. I want to control when a round is chambered. EAA gladly rogered up to repair the gun on their dime but required me to pay shipping to and from (at a cost of almost $100).

I ordered the EAA Witness Polymer 9mm 4.5" 16+1 on Tuesday, it was delivered to my FFL on Thursday. I will be dealing with Bud's again....A LOT. This is the best semi-automatic handgun I own. Ran 200 rounds (100 each of Tula steel & Winchester white box) through it without a single issue. I have no problem trusting this pistol to do what I ask of it. If you're on the fence concerning this weapon, get off of it, the Witness will not let you down especially at this price.
