Great shot gun, you can use it for home defense as well for shooting disks , nice looking and great price.

Mossberg quality. Mossberg consistency. The shotgun arrived in great condition and works well. 100 rounds of #6 shot through it with zero issues. Barrels swap out with no problems and converting to pistol grip is easy. If you're a hunter/target practice owner with a need for a home defense tool, the 2 in 1 is a great option.l

I received my firearm quickly and the condition was impeccable. I will be purchasing another firearm in the near future.

I really like the adjustability of this shotgun. I bought it for home defense but I can also use it for trap/skeet or for hunting.

The transaction with Buds was flawless. I actually bought this gun using the lay-a-way and the minute I made the final payment, I received an email saying the deal was done my gun would be shipped very soon. Smooth. The gun itself is more like a Maverick 88. It has a cheap hollow plastic stock and forend and a plastic trigger and trigger guard. Should have researched a bit more but it is what it is. Still a Mossberg. We will see.

Got this gun awhile ago thought to give it the review it deserves, I haven’t had any problem with it at all and the combo for the price is a huge bonus. I love mossberg and would definitely recommend this firearm. Buds was speedy as always for the delivery.

Love it! I took it to the range and put 10 #6 shot and 5 00 bucks through the 28", then 5 slugs through the 18.5". It ran them all, and put them all on target. It has a really nice trigger as well. There's a reason the 500 is so well regarded. I also have to give kudos to Bud's. This is my third purchase, and I can't compliment them enough.

I ordered a Mossberg 500 12 ga. Field / Security combo Shotgun. Buds Gun Shop were the only ones that had the Black combo I wanted and not only that, but were far cheaper than anyone else. I also ordered the Lifetime Guarantee, what a great deal ! My shotgun arrived ahead of schedule at my FFL Dealer. When I took it home to really inspect it I noticed a little rust on the Knurled part of the take down screw so I called Customer service at Buds and the young man I spoke to was very apologetic to my concerns and even said he would call Mossberg directly for me and ordered the new parts. When I order my next gun it will definitely will be from Buds Gun Shop. What an easy transaction it was on their web site. Delivery and customer service was Outstanding. Thumbs up all the way

Living in Montana, Bud's Gun Shop is quite a ways away. I ordered the shotgun on a Saturday afternoon, it shipped out early in the next week and arrived at my FFL on Friday. I had the firearm in my hands the next day (a week later). The firearm came as it was described on Bud's website and even considering the FFL fee it still cost me less than I could buy it for locally. I am pleased with my experience and would not hesitate to order from them again.

This gun does come with the removal chokes on the 28" barrel. I wish I would have done a little more research before purchasing. This gun has the "cheaper" single piece plastic forend instead of the more sturdy action slide tube setup. If you are planning on upgrading the forend to a Hogue or other type please know you will need to also purchase the action slide tube and nut.

Price is great for what you get. Extremely reliable and rugged Mossberg 500 with 2 barrels and 3 chokes. I ordered with eCheck to make sure I got the cash discount. Takes about a week to process before it's even shipped. Everything arrived safely and in perfect condition to my FFL. This was my first online order so I was nervous, but everything was real smooth. The shotgun came with the 28" barrel and a choke installed. I did a light cleaning to get some of the factory grease/oil off. Action works great, but there is a little rotational play with the forend. That is to be expected and it does not have any effect on the reliability or function. If you want it to be tighter, go buy a action slide tube and a new forearm. This is an excellent deal and I'm positive the firearm will last a very long time.

Great deal on a shotgun. I kept going back and forth between this and the Remington 870 but you just can't beat the deal on this shotgun with two barrels and the pistol grip. The fit and finish of the Remington is just slightly better it seems but the gun fires great and is fun to shoot.

My shotgun arrived in jsut a few days and well packed. I've already had a range session and could not be happier with this product. It's a high quality and versatile shotgun at a low price. Thank you to Buds!
