I bought the gun on the 3-month layaway plan and could not wait three months so I paid it off early. Buds Gun Shop is great. This is my second purchase from them. I have had the gun for a month now and have shot over 500 rounds through it. Everything from top of the line to budget/cheap(mostly). I had one fail to feed early on. The gun likes to be lubed and kept that way. I love the accuracy of this gun and the sights.

I won't say much as this is the only real handgun I have shot so far. But I love shooting it! It's a pleasure to hold, great ergonomics (my hands are between small and medium). Even though it's a polymer gun, weight is well distributed with at least half-full mag. Comparing it with airsoft copies of Beretta Px4 storm and M9, Steyr feels to be more practical and handy.

Love the grip on this weapon - hand falls in place and trigger finger just melts to grip Put 1k rds thru pistol including 90 gr reloads - 115 gr and 124 gr bullets with no malfunction Have a glock 19 which is good shooter but had to put over 300.00 in parts and 8 hrs of labor to get it close to Steyr the trapezoid sight very fast sight acclimation to target If ur looking for a great conceal weapon it's Steyr Check one out by the way comes with two 17 rd mags

The Steyr pistols always seem to play second fiddle behind the Walther and H&K models, but I don\'t see why as I own two of them, and love them both. Ergonomically, this is probably one of the best pistols I have for comfort and feel as it just sits naturally in my hand, making it easy to shoot. Some people have complained about the sights on these, but again, I find them very easy to use. I\'m able to reacquire my target very easily with them; much more so than with the traditional three dot sights. The trigger on this is almost as good as a Walther one in my opinion. The difference between them is extremely small, so you certainly would not go wrong buying one of these. The trigger on it is very crisp, with the reset being very short, so you can put more shots on target faster. Disassembly is very easy on it, so you can have it apart in no time to clean. Magazines are a bit harder to find, but Steyr\'s website has them for sale at reasonable prices if you can\'t find them anywhere else. I really enjoy this and am quite happy I bought it. I liked it so much that I ended up buying three additional ones. And as usual, Bud\'s rocks!!

Overall this is a decent hand gun, with some qualifiers, but I\'m glad I made the purchase. Pros and Cons as follows: Pros: 1).Ergonomics: fits my hand extremely well. 2) Decreased perceived recoil/muzzle flip. This may be due to relatively low bore axis and design. 3) Trigger break: clean, crisp, not too heavy not too light. Excellent for a striker fired handgun. Neutral: 1). Triangular sights. I didn\'t mind them. It seemed pretty easy to re-acquire the target. I shot as accurately with this gun as most of the others I own, maybe even a click better. Cons: 1) In a ratio of only one out of six did the slide successfully stay rearward after the last round was fired. I have a suspicion this may be due to operator error--i.e. my thumb is over-riding the slide release. Even if that is the case, the gun is not very forgiving of operator error. I don\'t have this problem with any of my other handguns. No FTEs or FTFs. 2) Trigger reset: while the break is excellent, the reset is about the worst of any gun I own, and hard to detect while shooting at the range. All told, a good gun. I\'m glad I bought it. But given some of these issues it gets four stars.

If you're looking at this, it's the one you want. Feels great, shoots great. 17 rounds. Easy takedown. Not very big. Was my first firearm purchase and I am very satisfied, put 200 rounds through on the first day.
