Hard to shoot not great for medium size hands but cool to have.

Received item in factory packaging. Looks good. Received on Wednesday. Took it out to fire on Saturday. Half-cocked and put safety on. Loaded .38 cartridges and got ready to enjoy firing. Fired from 1st barrel . Will not auto-shift to 2nd barrel after firing first barrel. All in all a disappointment. Contacted Bud's to see what needs to be done to have this corrected. A nice looking derringer but I want to be able to fire from both barrels.

The trigger is a little stiff but overall I'm very well pleased with the product an with buds gun shop

Haven't fired it yet so I can't report on that. Always wanted a derringer. Read a couple reviews on these and decided to order one from Buds Shipping wad fast as always. The Finish is flawless and it locks up tight. Hope to shoot it soon.

I bought this gun as I was seeking something small that could fit in my pocket. Although you have to put a little force on the trigger the gun meets my expectations. This is the type of gun you pack around and hide anywhere.

Bud's was great, quick shipping, and excellent pricing. This COB Derringer is nice looking. I was impressed. Trigger is tight. You will need to clean this Derringer out of the box. Great for backup carry. This Derringer is not a handgun you are going to spend all day at the range with. I am pleased and would like another when back in stock.

Gave this one to my brother for xmas. I have one too. Yes they have a different kind of trigger pull. Mine is dead on at 21 feet. I have owned and practiced extensively with .38 derringers for about 40 years. the greatest thing about them is you don't leave them home. The sight of those 2 .38 barrels will make an attacker run the other way. I know.

I love this gun it is so much fun to shoot it takes awhile to get used to the trigger pull but other than that it is a really awesome gun to mess around with.

This is my second purchase from Bud's, and I always wanted a derringer, just thought I'd give it a try as a fun range gun. From purchase to pickup was a week, and the gun was brand new and packaged nicely. It's a nice little pistol, and the satin rosewood finish looks great. Thanks Bud!

It is really nice looking. Takes a while to get use to the hammer, trigger pull and safety. Fairly accurate up to 20 feet or so after that who knows. Good pocket gun for the price. I probably would not buy it again.

got this gun from buds as always good service fast shipping, this is a great gun for the money yes there are better derringers out there but your going to pay up the a** for them for under $150 this is a good gun. i carry it every day some times its the only gun i carry its a good gun to get on a budget and i would rather have two shots then none at all to defend my self with.

Service was excellent from Buds. no complaints, Purchase the satin rosewood handle .38 derringer. Trigger pull on the little beast is a bit crisp, but it won't go off in your pocket by accident. That is assuming one is dumb enough to carry it cocked. Well made gun and excellent value for the money. Purchased a Heritage 22 at the same time, very nice revolver anxious to give them both a test fire. Would purchase through Buds with no qualms.

I ordered my gun on 3/18 at 10:00 pm EST, and picked it up at my FFL dealer this morning 3/20 at 11:00 am EST. The Next Day Shipping on Fast Track items for Team Buds members alone is well worth the yearly price of membership. I am very happy with my purchase of the Cobra Firearms .38 Special Big Bore Derringer. It's a good looking, solid piece of work that feels good in my hand. The fit, and finish are excellent, and the picture doesn't do it justice. The hammer, and trigger action were a bit stiff, but crisp. This is partially due to being for safety considerations, and partly due to being new out of the box. After an afternoon of handling the gun, the actions have limbered up quite nicely. As per the instruction manual, I would not dry fire this weapon. I always use snap caps for all my dry firing practice sessions. Unfortunately, I haven't had time to get to the gun range yet to get some actual impressions of the gun's live firing capabilities. Suffice to say though that this gun is not meant as a long range target pistol, so I would not expect such results from it. Hopefully, I can add more information after having some range time with it. This was another great buying experience all around, and I look forward to doing business with Buds, and Cobra Firearms again real soon!

I bought this little beauty at Bud's a few weeks ago. As always, Bud's was top-notch in terms of ease of use and delivery. Of course, price was again, un-matched, Bud's was the best price by far. As for the gun, simple to use, simple to shoot. What a fun little piece to handle and fire. Trigger pull is a breeze and the kick is nothing. Ejection was never an issue and the gun performed flawlessly. For the money, this is a no-brainer. Awesome little gun. Buy it!!!
