This is a solid rifle! Shame Leagcy is discontinuing it in 6.5X55 SE. The rifle showed up at my ffl. The stock was nice but I was a little let down due to the picture from Buds shows scope mounts attached to a rail but it didn’t come with it. Not a deal breaker by any means. The bluing was deep and bore was shiny. Buds had great customer service and answered all my questions about my order.

This is a great package for the price! The glass is very clear for a lower price point scope, I would have preferred a mildot or holdover type reticle though. The forend is a bit too flexible but accuracy was great, first hand load was a .7” group. S&B 131gr SP were .5” and .6”. The bluing and bolt finish are a little nicer on my Weatherby Vanguards but the Howa’s is decent. The pull on the 2 stage trigger is light and crisp. I prefer the conventional recoil lug and hinged floor plate vs the detachable mag found found on some of the cheaper rifles out there. This is a solid rifle.

Great gun at a great price. Gun was quickly delivered. Screws for the scope mount base were missing. A call to Legacy Sports secured the base screws. Howa rifles purchased in 2017 have a lifetime warranty. Fit and finish of the gun and scope are very good. Buds did it again!

As good as it get for a out of the box rifle. Workmanship is way above average,accuracy with factory ammo is outstanding! Nick and the folks at Buds did a great job of processing and shipping considering the volume of firearms they deal with daily! You won't be disappointed with the service or Howa rifle Gary Rich

Very nice rifle for the money. Within 7 shots, i was getting groups of 1" or less, at 100 yards, with a reloaded 129 gr hornady bullet. The Gameking scope is good to very good at 100 yards. I have not shot it at longer distance yet. The Hogue stock is great. Easy to grip The Howa two stage trigger is crisp with no slop. The only down side with this purchase was, the rifle had a small rust spot on the barrel, with i cleaned it up, and you can hardly notice it now.
