I bought this gun for plinking and to keep in our boat. This is a well built little gun. The fit and finish is not the greatest and was a little stiff and gritty out of the box, but after shooting a 150 rds, and cleaning and polishing a couple of spots, it works fine, there were a few FTF's at first, but now it runs CCI standard velocity 100%. I can't ask for more than that.
I've read complaints about the safeties and to me, there not a big deal. If you want to clear this gun, you lock the slide back then remove the magazine. That's it. When you re-assemble the gun after cleaning, do what the manual says to do when holding the recoil spring down with the barrel. I did this 4 or 5 times to learn how to do it so the spring doesn't go flying across the room. After you have done it a few times, it's a piece of cake.
The only thing I wish it did was to lock the slide back after the last round, but I knew it didn't do that when I ordered it.
Just an FYI, my wife can't rack the slide back without cocking the hammer first. The hammer spring is very stiff. The slide by itself isn't too bad, though
This is a fun gun to shoot and so far is reliable and seems very solid. Just remember that it's a $118.00 gun. If you want something pretty, don't expect too much.
